I’ve worked as a trainer for a long time and in my experience when it comes to bodybuilding the differences we see in results across people can be attributed to 60-70% genetics, 20-25% diet choices, and 10-15% training choices/technique.
@HkFinn83Ай бұрын
Yes and when you get into super advanced competitors, the training becomes less and less significant. Everybody is likely providing way more stimulus for growth than can be recovered and grown from. It’s a bit annoying because a lot of us are interested in training and it’s something we can control and want to matter more than it does. In the positive side I suppose it’s not worth obsessing over

when you take insane amount of roids than you basically need to just move weight doesn't matter if it's full range or not or if weight is heavy or not your body is already trying to build muscle and is anabolic as hell (which is the biggest challenge of any natty 90% of most work is to trigger that level of anabolic process), so anyone saying how dare this guy critic the best and since they are best they know better is just BS. all they did is to take massive risk with all knows roids and lived inside gym for hours doing anything doesn't matter if it made sense or not just move weight.

Obviously genetics are going to play a huge role in strength and muscle building. The science becomes important when a lifter starts to bump up against their natural limits of strength and muscle building. You guys have to get a video with Migan (Team 3D Alpha), his knowledge is off the charts and his stuff is revolutionary. He's read "10,000 studies in the past 10 years and can refer to any one at any time."

I'd be curious to see you analyze Dana Lynn Bailey. Just curious. Your critiques have totally changed my workouts!! Awesome stuff.

I like that lately there's more caveats like "for an athlete of this type this idea might be valid, but for this person/bodybuilding/whatever it's not useful". Because let's face it, there's a lot of strength and other athletes watching the channel as well, or just amateurs/hobbyists who have strength or athletic goals. Because it's one of the most useful channels on youtube for that kind of stuff. I remember "back in the day" when there was the "Strength made simple" series when I was still more interested about how to build muscle, and now I'm doing sports and trying to increase strength for it. It's not always easy to parse comments like "this is stupid/worthless" when it's said in specific context and not interpret it as universal idea. Versa Gripps are cool but there's something about it when you see the most worn down IronMind straps. Like someone uses them and then does 300 kg deep squats or 230 kg front squats.
