When I go to the gym this is what I do: overload by 1 rep from x machine from 50-60-70-80-90%-max weight handled until reaching higuest weight possible then I go backwards unloading: 3-4 reps using 100% max weight, then 3-4 reps with 90%-80-70-60-50-40% max weight. Then 1 isometric rep using 80-90% max weight as 30s-1min second isometric. Then I move to the next machine and repeat the same exact strategy, keeping control on both uploading and unloading phase. Also apply same strategy using dumbells and bars. By doing this I achieved faster progressive strengh+volume+tone+everything else. Per machine and muscle area and overall. This is my perfected strategy. I'm not scientists, I'm a retired elite soccer player+swimmer+model with 8 years of experience, trained by other scientists😉.
