Honestly, when a man has a sexy partner he has no time to worry about a lot of things. Sex is part of life and as long as a man and a woman have a healthy sexual relationship and take care of themselves a lot of ailments won't visit them. Pornography does help to stimulate the mind and the body when you don't have a woman with whom a sexual relationship is a daily norm. When there is a woman in a man's life and they both are sexually active it becomes a healthy lifestyle.
@SBGSolutionsPH3 ай бұрын
True. Also put some humour in your daily life. Partners who are always have a lot of fun things to talk and share about has less stress and a more relaxed attitude in life, which in turn helps in having a good erection for the male partner and good cardio health for both.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It’s true that a healthy sexual relationship can contribute to overall well-being, both physically and emotionally. However, I think it’s important to recognize that everyone’s experience with sexuality is different. While pornography might work for some in moderation, it can also have negative effects on others, especially when it starts affecting real-life relationships or mental health. Finding balance and maintaining open communication with a partner about needs and boundaries can help ensure that both emotional and physical health are supported

Regarding Pornography and masturbation: for myself as an older man, there is an advantage for pornography versus real person stimulation for masturbation. The majority of my orgasms in my life have been achieved by visual stimulations or just fantasy and not by real live person sex. If I was promiscuous, yes, I would have my orgasms with (many) real people. Also there are risks with having real people sex: social stress and effort (in meeting someone), sexual infections etc. So pornography does have a positive role in achieving sexual orgasm. In my opinion, the only risk with having pornography is visiting sites with illegal visual material. And of course, being obsessed with pornography.
@carlodonnell1466 ай бұрын
for me there nothing like the real thing..not to claim that I have never partake in porn.....but I was not totally obsessed because I know its dangerous; if a man is obsessed with porn he may eventually go out looking for the real thing that looks like his obsession..and I think thats what makes serial killers..if he is not aware that it could happen..........and I feel convinced now that it affects sex with a partner if you have one......so I have given up on it ...

Thank you for sharing your perspective! It’s interesting how different people have different experiences when it comes to sexual satisfaction. You’re absolutely right that pornography can provide a safe space for some individuals, especially when real-life encounters come with complexities like social stress or health risks. I think the key point you mentioned is moderation - while it can serve a purpose, overuse or dependency on it can sometimes create challenges in other areas of life, like relationships or self-esteem. As with anything, balance is crucial. It's great that you're aware of the potential risks and approach it with a healthy mindset.

imagine blaming the only thing that treats sexual intercourse as sacred an issue. If you're having sex outside marrriage, bring on a world of hurt and risks.. The dysfunction is from people who think sex means nothing. If sex meant nothing, we wouldn't have such heinous crimes associated with it, if its just ''nothing bro''. I haven't watched this vid yet, but if she states that pron doesn't cause ED, she is lying through her teeth, and she is part of the multiple billions dollar problem thats affecting young men today..
@plainsimple2447 ай бұрын
@@nevswain478 Yes, sex is vital and important but normal and natural.... The subject is porn causing erectile dysfunction and then you have to ask why would a man watch porn merely to get an erection? He wouldn't....So now you have to get into what excites a man, if porn excites that particular guy, how can porn cause erectile dysfunction? HAHAHA.... This is why this video is 1000% subjective because a guy will watch porn for various reasons. I personally believe guys just want to see women and how women are when it comes to being their true selves as opposed to seeing how women present themselves because it's a huge difference in a woman having sex being her true self than how she is socially, even if she's in a loving sustainable relationship, her personality would be different. A guy is pretty-much open when it comes to his personality and sexuality combined but women are different in that area because they do not or are not actually real or themselves socially...so when it comes to sex, she's an entirely different being...so to see a woman in that environment knowing how she is, that's what a man really loves.

As I have said before, I enjoy these scientific based talks. Most of my E.D is psychogenetic starting way back when my wife went thru the change and it also started taking longer for me to get erect as I was getting older. Add my past porn use (which I no longer watch) and that just compounded it. We also went thru a stage of several years with no sex just because we were both afraid we could no longer satisfy each other which caused even more anxiety when we did try. She felt I no longer desired her and I felt she no longer desired me in that way.. After some discussion we agreed I would use and E.D med when we wanted to have sex. It wasn't an instantaneous change but we now have a system that works for us. I probably do not get as much exercise as Dr Malik suggests but I am in good physical health, eat well and get decent exercise 2-3 days per week. Thank you!

Today I work outdoors, eat a keto/carnivore diet, no problems maintaining an erection and wake up most days with morning wood. Rena in a lot of her videos when referring health talks about high cholesterol been bad, this needs to be put into context, if you have low triglycerides then high cholesterol is fine, especially on a keto diet.

Sounds like the only thing that mattered in that was you went from an office job to an outdoor job. Also, studies have shown that people tend to be the least satisfied in their lives at middle age, around 50 years old, and this improves with time. In short, there are far too many variables at play for you to reasonably assume it’s caused by your ketogenic/carnivore diet, especially when the data doesn’t back that up. It’s more likely that you are having better erections in spite of your diet, than because of it.

ED affects half of men in their 50's so it's extremely common. The problem with it is that there are a LOT of causes and they aren't necessarily mutually exclusive so you could have any number of concurrent issues going on which makes it nearly impossible to identify and effectively treat. Most men don't want to untangle all of the causes or dramatically change their lifestyle so they just ask a doctor for a prescription for Viagra and try to deal with it that way. But that doesn't treat the root cause and I suspect symptoms will only get worse over time.
@mslice097 ай бұрын
Most men will develop a prostate enlargement problem.which is the root of most sexual problems.. Cialis is a safer medication and will clear up many sexual problems..
@tebmedtourism2 ай бұрын
Absolutely, you've hit the nail on the head. ED can indeed be a complex issue with multiple overlapping causes, which makes finding the right treatment a bit of a puzzle. While medications like Viagra can offer relief, addressing underlying issues-whether they’re physical, psychological, or lifestyle-related-can lead to more sustainable improvements. It’s important for men to work with their healthcare providers to identify and tackle these root causes, even if it means making some lifestyle changes. It’s all about taking a comprehensive approach to health, rather than just managing symptoms.
@adrianandrews22547 ай бұрын
Clear and useful video, BUT everybody talks about ED and nobody talks about an inability to climax even when there are no problems with firmness or duration. How about covering this ? Different question - why does needing to pee kill an erection dead ?
@tebmedtourism2 ай бұрын
Great questions! The inability to climax, or delayed ejaculation, is actually a fairly common issue that often gets overlooked. It can be caused by a variety of factors, including medications, stress, anxiety, or even overstimulation. Sometimes, psychological factors or relationship dynamics can also play a role. It’s worth discussing with a healthcare provider to explore potential underlying causes and treatments, as it’s a very treatable condition. As for needing to pee killing an erection - this happens because the body prioritizes different functions. When your bladder is full, it sends signals to your brain, which can inhibit the signals related to sexual arousal and erections. The two systems are closely connected, so your body essentially 'chooses' to focus on the need to urinate over sustaining an erection.

I know that very well...

as a old man I was only able to last 23 seconds into this video. I am very fortunate that in my younger yrs I had a active sex life and that now at this age I have full function fairly quick. I realized lately that I do NOT have a lack of desire. I see women I desire, the problem is they dont desire me anymore. PORN, for me its about the only thing that will increase my libido but its a waste of time to get all aroused if you cant have a desirable partner.

Dr. Malik, your videos are incredibly helpful, but you need a new or better mic.

I currently have no problems getting it up, if anything, my desire has wained over the last few years, but your video sucked to listen to, but I had to listen to it. Lot of good info. Lots of course corrections to make.

Thank you Dr Malik your videos are awesome. I feel like you answer everything I need to know about health and how to improve my relationship with my girlfriend. I could never get all this information from my doctor in a half hour visit.

Thanks for the advice. You are basically telling me everything I know and don't wanna hear. Taking all the foods I love away and adding foods I don't like. I guess it all boils down to what you like the most. Your favorite foods or sex. I love both and it's easy to have your favorite foods. It's not so easy finding a partner that likes to do it as much as you do.

I used to worry about this, but now I'm 31 and still an unwanted virgin so if I have no chance of ever being in a relationship I might as well watch whatever.

“Years ago”, my doctor discovered that I had a low testosterone level, but I was in good physical condition. He asked me if I ride my bicycle, a lot? When I said, yes, he said that the bicycle seat rubbing against my testicles, had caused my lot testosterone. So, I immediately stopped riding a bicycle. Just a couple of months ago, I brought up my low testosterone and bicycle riding, to which my new doctor commented, that writing bicycle will not affect my testosterone. Can you please elaborate???

I am interested to know if taking Nitric Oxide supplement improves ED symptoms
@Asiansxsymbol7 ай бұрын
Of course! There's no nitric oxide supplement but there are ingredients that make nitric oxide when inside the body.

Thanks for answering the porn thing, as this now helps me understand more. Furthermore, I never knew anything you talked about. All I got in high school was 'use a condom' that was mostly it.

Very good and useful content, doctor. Could you please make another video about suplements to avoid ED on healthier persons?
