@@MarekDrives sorry dude but you shouldn't wear a coat when you are driving. From automotive engineer's perspective; we don't design cars to be driven with two human-sized coats.
@MarekDrives4 жыл бұрын
@@Kaankkwho As observant as you are, you probably noticed I'm not actually wearing a coat, while driving. I was recording on a cold and wet morning, and I do not have the luxury of a heated camper van on the set, where I could warm myself over a cup of tea, while my crew is setting up cameras. We do everything ourselves my partner and me. So excuse me, if I don't take my coat of, before I get in the car, because I'll catch a cold, and the I won't be recording anything. Also, from an automotive engineer's perspective you should know everyone else is not an engineer, and in the winter they will usually drive wearing coats, because it takes 10-15 minutes for the cars to warm up. And they don't want their children to get a cold, because then everyone gets a cold, and everyone is miserable. So yes, I know you should take your coat off, or at least fasten the seatbelt underneath the coat, but reality sucks.

@@simeonaleksiev8690 Listen it's a Renault using Renault parts and platforms, the platform is only a small part of it's content and in fact the Duster platform is a Dacia modified BO. Thanks. Xceed, because you get more car for your money. Neither of them is going to be particularly comfortable. If you want something good on bumpy roads look at the Citroen C4 Cactus and the new Citroen C4 (the coupe-crossover one) with hydraulic bump stops on the front suspension. I think the facelifted KIA Stonic may have those as well, but it doesn't feel as comfortable, as the Citroens.

Renault seem to make some very odd decisions sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I've had lots of Renaults, and currently drive a 2018 Koleos amongst other things. I think Renault are brilliant when it comes to exterior design. And I have to say this updated Captur looks great both inside and out. Especially compared to its rivals in the same sector. But there lies the problem! It *looks* great. When I sat in one recently at my local dealership, I was so disappointed with the perceived quality. The inside *looks* fine... until you touch (almost) anything. Lots of cheap hard plastic everywhere you touch, the cheap tinny sound of the rear doors and boot when you close them, naff materials used on the upholstery, and so the list could go on. In Ireland and perhaps elsewhere, it's what we refer to as being _"All fur coat and no knickers!"_ I still love my Koleos though!

It so happens I have the scirpt, so it takes me a couple of seconds to verify what I said in the review. I used the word "French" twice. Once to avoid saying Renault Captur over and over again (i.e. "French car"), and once to describe the heated steering wheel, which I think is really the first for a French car, at least as far as I remember. Nowhere in this review have I made a point that something is wrong with the Captur, because of it is French. Perhaps it is you, who should seek help, because it sounds like you have some inferiority issues.
