The Renault Captur shares many of its parts with the Renault Clio supermini and features most of that car's engine range, too. As a result, you can pick between punchy yet economical small turbocharged petrols or efficient yet noisy diesels. The Captur looks like a small off-roader, but there's no four-wheel-drive model and the focus inside is on practicality - the seat covers can even zip off so you can wash them.

The interior is similar to my Zoe, but that interior is very old now, and they still haven’t changed things with this updated Captur. It’s basically a 7 year old interior, with useless cupholders that aren’t adaptive at all. But at least the Zoe is really cheap to run, fun to drive and looks pretty good. This looks terrible. Anyone considering this I would implore them to get a Zoe or a Clio (if 180-200 miles of range on a charge is somehow not enough for you) instead.

Did you launch a review of a car without any research? It's been common knowledge now for weeks that Renault has changed its trim levels. The Captur now has Play, Iconic and GT Line as the only trim options.

Looks inside like a cheapo early 2000s compact car....doesn't match the exterior beauty imo. nah this car is designed for womens and their little children. But i would prefer Peugeout 3008 or Seat Ateca if i need to choose a family van

Ditto. A likeable presenter reviewing a pretty average car. These cars are a rip off - they're not much better than the superminis they're based on, yet they cost a bomb. I've been a passenger in one of these and felt cramped in the back.

Take it from me as an owner, don’t buy one. The driving experience is such... every bump is rattle squeak rattle squeak rattle squeak.The seats rattle, the dash board rattles, the seatbelt clips rattle. The tracks that the rear seats slide on rattle and squeak. The glove box rattles, and so on. The general cheap quality of all the fittings inside means everything judders and moves with every bump. Also, the front bumper is made of such thin plastic that when a bird hit my car it smashed a hole in the front of it. By the way, the front wings are plastic to.
