Hey man! Very cool car, already watched multiple videos of you :). I am currently saving up for a Clio 172, but I was wondering if it is worth the extra money (5k EUR vs 1.5k EUR) compared to a 1.6 16v. What are your thoughts on it? Did you ever feel like you need more power?

of course more is always better but it's not that big of a difference, I've driven both 172 and 182 .. of course they go better but I don't know if it's worth the money .. +k4m lasts longer, More spare parts, More spare parts, and especially cheaper for maintenance. The K4m engine can be modified relatively cheaply to 150hp, if I had the money and the choice, I would still choose the 1.6 16v is the clear choice

I myself would like a 172/182 but the parts are quite expensive unless you live in the UK, the engine will not last that long and most of what is for sale are suitable for a complete engine renovation. I use k4m daily, I drive long distances for 5l City up to 6.5 l.. for me it's clearly, if you want something a little better but more expensive, it's 172 :)) brakes, chassis and engine are more powerful, but if you know how to search, He can rearrange things from RS to k4m .. there is only a few hp missing, 1.6 is enough for trips outside the city .. if you have seen my other videos, in some of them you can see how I struggle with traction on the front axle

And the Clio 1.6 doesn't brake or handle badly at all, it surprises an awful lot of stronger cars, and especially in the corners it is the king

Oem cams :)) only retardet 4-5° and no, without remap, I was on the dyno today and it measured 125hp and 172nm... We adjusted it and it's currently 136hp and 185nm.. video coming soon 😇

I came across one of these today. It was riding on shitty wheels and hubcaps and it was scratched everywhere, and ngl I laughed a lot when I saw the Instagram of the guy written in the left window. But it turns out that is actually pretty fast. I drive a 140hp Fiesta and I know that power is not everything, weight makes a lot of difference. So sorry for laughing at you lil Clio. Stock is 107hp if I’m not wrong?

if you have an electric servo, use this bracket 7700273712, belt 6pk1100 from clio 1 1.8rsi, if you have a hydraulic servo, you have to relocate it, nothing complicated and 16kg of weight saved :))
