Unpopular opinion: Super Touring (Class 2) are better than Group A! Especially the first years. But it has suffered the same fate as Group A. Too expensive in the very last years... :(

No, always 2 liter naturally aspirated 4 cylinder with around 300 hp and a revlimit of 8500 rpm, all per super touring rules. All super touring cars were required to have 2 liter naturally aspirated engines with a maximum of 6 cylinders, and most makes used 4 cylinder engines. Ford used a V6 and Volvo an inline 5 cylinder though.

@fontheking5 I think it might of been to do with Gran Turismo... it had the V6 Laguna and then a racing build which made it look like this... with the Volvo and Ford using multi cylinder engines I just assumed this did aswell
