Read new article couple days ago saying that this cars futures in doubt due to low sales! Really hope it stays around, I didn't like the old megane models thought it looked ugly from the back/rear but I LOVE this new shape! 👌🏽 It's a potential future car for me once PCP on my seat ibiza ends in 2-3 years time! Really underrated car. 👏🏽

The hatchback is a struggle for some brands these days so who knows what the future will hold for them. The Golf is probably safe enough for now but others that don't sell as well...

@@NobbyOnCars Yeah its because the countrys become obsessed with SUVs and the feeling of sitting higher over lots of other traffic. SUVs serve its purpose well but if you don't have a large family to think about theres nothing like the agile handling of a hatchback 👌🏽

I own the car in the netherlands Great car , we remapped the engine to 150hp which felt quite a bit better.

Your reviews getting better and better. Not dragged out and all important information. I personally love this generation of Megane and in a way, it gives you a lot of car for the money. It's just a shame they killed 205hp 1.6 petrol version.

Question how is the soundsystem in the car? Im looking to buy a Megane GT-line but It seems I can't take like a upgraded soundsytem which you can take on the RS or the bose editon but the bose edition does not has a sporty look like the GT-line. Waiting for a call from the dealer to get a testdrive :) PS: if my english isn't that good Its not my main language. Thanks In advance

steven vos I wonder if you dig further with a dealer can you order it? I reviewed a Kadjar GT-Line a while back and that had a BOSE system. Generally I find them ok but you won’t get the high volume minus distortion on any standard system usually. Hope that helps!

Drawback of the Bose system is you lose your spare wheel and are better off going aftermarket

It's pretty good, on the English version at least, and comes included with the Arkamys software to make things sound a lot better than you think for a standard radio, its also very good at reducing distortion when you turn up the volume.

i own the megane, my girlfriend the clio, the clio feels like it’s made to be small and practical, the megane feels like a sports car but lacks a bit of power , interior is nice though
