I burst out laughing at that exhaust pop in the tunnel. That sounds fantastic for a 1.8l turbo. More pops than my 2017 Camaro SS. I had a Clio Williams almost 20 years ago and I still miss that mad thing.

Renault was always the hot hatch king,still there will never be a car like 3rd gen megane trophy r,that car was literally the best driving fwd car ever.Chassis,steering,cornering,handling,just complete package.Renault also build some of the most bonkers cars ever like gt5, gt turbo,clio 185,clio v6, espace f1, r 26 r, clio rs 16.

The Alpine is also amazing but it's more sport compared to the Trophy, in the Alpine you only have 2 seats, you have low baggage space and it's more expensive but otherwise you have more fun to drive, the car is quicker, it's actually really amazing how good it handles, how it feels to be closer to the ground and how good it is overall for the money you pay for it.

WILSON WISE I know dude For the price the alpine is actually cheeper in France due to émission taxes being higher in the megane! But anyways I would personally rather own the alpine and have a cheep Clio 2 RS of 106 S16 to have a sporty hatch back

Great review....personally I love hot hatchbacks mega performance in a small package that's usable but I'm now 50 and seriously can you see me in this type of car, err no so many like Civic type r, Focus RS, etc love powerful hot hatch cars but need more grown up type of thing now.

I watched your vid of the older one the other day because I’m in the market for a hot hatch. I’ll look at one of these for sure but I’m probably going to go for an RS3 since I just love that 5 pot sound saying that it handles pretty poorly and doesn’t have 4 wheel steering like this miniature GT3 does...hmm. Nice drives. But I can fínd anyone who test it in winter. Leave it outside in winter -15. Roofbox on, skies in. Winter tyres on. and.... does the elec hold? and all the other bits and pieces, do the stick together... Cars shoud be driven all year round, used all year around with proper gear on...
