I'm replying to you because it's the most recent comment lol. I currently have a 2010 1.2 TCE Clio. Have you happened to own a mk 3 Clio RS?@@Kuku_hihi

Agree with everyone about the 200 being such fun. I recently got a lotus exige, which is awesome on track, but the 200 isn’t going anywhere! To much fun chucking it into corners ….

Had a 182 Cup from new. Best car I’ve ever owned. Wouldn’t see which way my Leon Cupra went, but I know which is more fun.

I had a 172 04 plate and then a 197 F1. 172 was quicker I'm sure but the 197 felt absolutely perfect. So much feel and so agile. After the 197 I had a 220 Trophy, another league in terms of out right pace but didnt quite have that special feel the 197 had. Still an awesome car though, no idea why the MK4 RS got such bad press, I loved mine

The 182 won. Not that it matters but according to the owner of the 182, who was there while they filmed, the 182 was actually the quicker car on the day. They "fiddled the times" for obvious reasons - it's all archived online

I knew it!!!!! The RS 200 just hasn’t got that out of the corner umff of the 182

Deep into the history books? One's from 2005 and the other is 2009. A renault 5 GT turbo would be more appropriate..
@Robcatist4 жыл бұрын
Had a couple of 5’s back in the day with the help of GTTuning they were 170-180 bhp not a lot but in something that weighs 800kg you needed something seriously exotic to beat you to a 100 mph not the sort of car to have an accident in though utter death traps.

They were going to use my 182 Cup for this but I couldn't make the date. Bummer!

Used my 200 cup today, choice of my 172 cup or 300 trophy tomorrow, can't use my 182 tomorrow as i'm having the wheels refurbed, yes i know i got issues! Lol. Seriously tho for me these cars are unrivaled 👍

Out of interest why doesn't it matter at what speed both cars start the race(crossing the starting line? The Clio ii could have been doing 90km/h and the Clio III at 100km/h. Just how wrong is my assumption?
@mikeormond78834 жыл бұрын
All lap times are measured with a flying start over the line... unless your drag racing....then it’s not technically a lap.
@thetad12424 жыл бұрын
@@mikeormond7883 ok, thanks for the feedback. Very interesting.
@Sean-tn5nv4 жыл бұрын
@@mikeormond7883 Surely not for official purposes? In that case, it would need to be a 30mph rolling start or whatever to be fair. Less reliant on a perfect launch then, just floor from 30mph say. Otherwise, if you just so happened to carry a lot more speed through the final corner of your "pre race lap" then the lap time would be skewed. One car could be carrying 10mph more at the flying start line. I have no idea just curious lol
@acarguy37733 жыл бұрын
@@Sean-tn5nv when hotlapping the last corner of the lap before is basically part of it, messing it up can slow down your entire lap. But without a flying start you aren't doing the fastest possible lap. Think about qualifying in F1 for example, they dont stop at the line and start again for each lap, they just go continuously until they get their best lap.

I’m not so sure the 200 would win in a straight line drag had and identical 182 to this and I’ve got a 200 now the 200 feels slower.

Should have raced a 172 the out come would be completely different both the rs 200 and the 182cup are to heavy.
@35dd3 жыл бұрын
The 182 wins, they made the 3RS heavier so they needed to add some horses. But that kills the light go-kart feel of the car. With the 4RS they completely went wrong. That’s why people love the 182 and 197 more

Hi Why is it motorbike test is so expensive than a car test. Why is the theory test last for two years does it expire when you passed your car or motorbike test. Because there’s a lot of people out there who are dyslexic. I passed my car test with three questions and my test was only £20 in 1988
