This Renault Twingo II has a 1.2 (1149 cc (70 cu in)) 4 Cylinder Petrol Engine with 75 (55 kW;74 hp) at 5500 rpm and 107Nm (79 lbf⋅ft) at 4250.
It is equipped with a 5-speed Manual driving the Front wheels.

Because it is either downhill or a strong tailwind. I owned one, on a flat you won't reach more than somewhere around 175 in 4th gear. Also the engine always feels a bit choked. The worst aspect of this car: the radiator is also the same unit as the Airconditioning radiator (normaly those are separated). It will leak, cost a fortune to replace and when you rev over 3800 tpm and load the engine (on a highway for example) the airco will turn itself off... For the rest it is a reliable and spacious little car which never consumed oil between services :)

I have one of these as my daily. They are weirdly quick for only a 75hp eco car. It feels like the power comes in quite high up the pedal movement as well which makes it feel responsive. Mine is even more basic and doesn't have aircon. It's just under 1 ton I think. I had great fun giving it some handbrake in the snow during winter :P They handle pretty well too, but need a faster steering rack and smaller steering wheel. I actually tested a Twingo RS Cup to replace it with, but I just didn't get on with it. It's rear felt very twitchy in corners and the gear change was super notchy. Where as my standard car's is smooth.

Not sure what it is about the 3rd generation but I really do not like the look of it. Have had the 2nd generation for a while now, probably around 6 years now, and it still drives like a dream.

Its 1.2-litres 16-valve unit seems much stronger low end torque than the state-of-art downsizing turbo of 0.9/1.0 TCe units from the same company, so snappy acceleration of D4F unit is second to none, I do assess!!
