If you've ever hankered after an electric car, there might have been a few impediments to an impending purchase. The first wave of electric cars weren't styled very appealingly. Never a good thing. Then came a second generation of vehicles that looked more like cars but which carried price tags that read like a bad joke. Electric cars were either cheap and horrible or expensive and barely adequate. Even when we moved on a bit from that, they still couldn't offer a credible level of battery range for most potential customers. Renault though, wants to change things.
The brand has already brought us the fun Twizy lightweight city car and even a Kangoo van featuring battery power. With the improved version of this ZOE supermini though, the company's got really serious about all-electric concept, notably so with the introduction of the version we're going to talk about here with its more capable 52kWh Z.E. battery and uprated R135 electric motor.

Just bought mine! 2 yrs old for 1/3rd price new! Love it! The range of the Zoe over similar sized cars was the clincher, plus I love its cute looks!

How are you finding it? I just put in an order myself! Managed to snag a 2022 GT Line+ for 13k, from an approved dealer so comes with all the normal warranties and all that good jazz.

We are on our 5th BEV & our 2nd Zoe. We currently have the 135GT which we love. The range is so good that we never bring the charging with us as we always charge at CCS DC chargers

Good on Renault for using the *usable* battery capacity (52kWh) in the name of the Zoe, unlike other EVs that actually have much less like the Leaf (36kWh), Corsa-e, or e-208 (46kWh). This mainly explains the difference in range, rather than the car's design.

best update yet.. damm man, = Star in NCAP. this is death trap after Renualt removed the safty, in expend of a smart display. Its a BIG mistake.
