I just want to thank you for this video! I've saved it months ago to watch since it's over 4 hours long but I've learned a lot, not only about the hair cards. Really helpful!

Hi First if all thanks a lot for this useful Tutorial Its very useful and productive. Just one query, I am facing an issue in 3:29:19 part. When i connect node in output the texture vanish and this text appears : [SM5] sampling a virtual texture is currently not supported when connected to the Opacity Mask material attribute. Can you please help me with this.
@TriGon_Art2 жыл бұрын
Virtual textures is a way to optimize. But as the error says it's notnsupported on shaders with opacity. Disable the virtual textures and it shpuld work I think

@@TriGon_Art Thanks, its working now. But i think Hair master material has missing nodes not. But that should not be an issues.

Hi, I followed your tutorial step by step - I started in Blender. Sadly I get only poor results - do you have any ideas?

Hi Trigon! Thanks for the tutorial. I've been struggling to get a good render out the the movie queue. My results are always blurry and grainy, despite the viewport looking fine. I've tried copying your antialiasing settings but it doesn't change the result. Wondering what I could be doing wrong. Is there any way I could contact you for help? I've already posted on the discord. Sorry if I'm spammy 😥

Awesome video bud. I followed your tutorial for my personal project but I got stuck trying add my alpha texture to the opacity mask. For some reason It's not working. Any idea on what the solution might be? Thank you

Which shader did u assign on the model to look gray?? In Maya

Hmmm don't remember I think I jsut messed with values untill it looked flat. I did it in the hair course somewhere. But try to just mess with values till it turns flat😎

Thank you for this amazing tutorial! I followed along but ran into issues with the flowmap. when I put the hair in Unreal, the world normals look really broken once I change the shading model from Default to Hair. Once I plug in the flowmap, it looks even more broken. Did you do some changes to the mesh normals in Maya before bringing it into Unreal? I made sure that the colors in the flowmap are correct, and I tried setting the flowmap to "color", "normalmap" and "vectordisplacement". I also tried setting sRBG off/on, but unfortunately no improvements with any of the setting changes. Would you have any idea? Thank you in advance.

So, to follow this video and do what it teaches, you need a software (Maya) that costs $1,700/year, right?
@TriGon_Art2 жыл бұрын
You can use whatever model software you like. You can use blender which is free
