Thank you! I'm so happy that the simplest scenario was displayed first! I really have a hard time following another prominent KZbinr.

There's a compressor on the master. It reacts to the whole mix. Now, we render all (or some) stems via master fx chain. How will that compressor react in both cases?

If you place a delay or reverb on the item effects, the tail cuts off after playing thru the item. How do you allow the tails to continue?

Must be why I started doing live render a long time ago and stopped using folders a long time ago because I couldn't understand what the hell was going on and things wouldn't sound right. It's obvious doing a single track like this but not when you're doing a full mix and your reverbs have changed or are missing. Cool tricks to know now

Hello hello I have the same question, a mastering compressor on master bus is reactic to all outputs at once. Using this method do we lose that magical glue escaping from our silly smartarsedness?

I'm coming from Studio One 5. Is there anyway for me to just render the item fx quickly... or I guess freeze it. I don't want to render another take. Just render the item fx and move on. Is there a simple way? I can do this in Studio One with one keystroke

if fx are on the item, then glue will do it.

What if I wanted to render (bounce) to a new track

browse action list for 'render tracks' for a dozen actions. some are in the track context menu beside the freeze actions
