Excellent idea! We too, like to use as much of an animal as possible. With all the fat that raccoon can carry, this idea will give us something to work with.

Mainly as fatwax (as moisturiser and cover scent!) Never had it pit metal in the form of fatwax! Not questioning how much would be needed to wax my traps for additional benefits of cover scent work now that I think about it

At first thought I thought this would be great for canoe paddles and boat oars. Later it came to me why not use on mink boxes, weasel boxes, and boxes used for cubby sets to preserve the wood and make the boxes last longer. Get that raccoon working for you.

I heard a bear fat but not the raccoon yeah and you know what's one thing that's funny with a raccoon I'm in Ontario and I'm in Barrie Ontario 40 minutes north of Toronto and I haven't seen one raccoon usually see them dead all over the road I haven't seen one raccoon roadkill this fall or winter surprisingly so they must have distemper or something

Why do you need a conibear on a stick? I just smack them between the eyes with a Louisville slugger and stand on them. Didn't know it preserves tires. It's great mixed with other stuff for black powder guns and soaked into logs to burn. Candles and soaps is another use.
