@@lunacy5772 it is easier to sing an 'e' vowel as 'ay' if it's very high and you don't want to strain. but this is a note that barrett used to be able to sing with no issue before her heathers vocal damage, so i think people call it out because the 'ay' vowel draws attention to that strain in her voice and the fact her belt maybe isn't very healthy.
