@Kate14274 ай бұрын
I like it without melting, which can become grainy and lose nutrients from heating. When heated butter cools completely it can also form a slightly hard surface.
@kaliissouledout4jesus92829 күн бұрын
I’ve made grainy before. If you let it cool longer on the counter before refrigerating? It should help. Also I’ve remeleted and fixed grainy issue before as well. The key is to let it sit and cook though.

Does heat destroy the nutrients in shea, mango or oils.
@SerenityyFitАй бұрын
You can use Almond oil. If you add Castor oil try an unroasted formula like Home Health. There is less of a scent. I do not heat the shea as it is faster and easier to whip without heat. Also there is no need to cool it. If you add fragrance the scent laste longer.

Have you tried looking into your diet? You might have food allergies you don't know about. One of my kids is allergic to what and had a similar issue with his skin. It would get dried and cracked and nothing would help the moisture stay in. We had him tested for food allergies and turns out it was the what causing the skin issues. Just something to consider.

If it is too fluffy it’ll collapse into an ugly looking blob in your jar 😅

Over mixing anything breaks down certain ingredients and turns it into liquid. Example: egg whites turns fluffy but if you overmix it breaks down the egg whites and liquefies.
