The body image topic and the negativity around it sucks for the most part. Things like people dissing Rhea are really stupid, she has a different build to your standard bikini model, but she looks amazing and she's a beast of a wrestler. The bonus of her look and build is it complements her character so well too. The only criticism I do have is the whole thing of over-positivity for overweight people. Now I'm not saying that they should be teased and ridiculed, they should be respected like anyone, but encouraging them to not lose weight is so stupid, it's not healthy for them.

Well Cornette has actually slammed a lot of how the Attitude Era handled women's wrestling, and look isn't "she's pretty" it's she comes across as an athlete and star. The fact Jim even sees her talent is why it's a relevant take.

Cornett is spot on. He never comments on the “attractiveness” of a wrestler... it’s about the “oh shit” factor. It’s the “people stop and look in awe” when this person enters the room and Rhea has that in spades. Dump Matsumoto had that, Wendy Richter had that, Marisa, Bull Nakano, Aja Kong, etc all had it. “The look” is honestly half of the pro wrestling game. People can make it without the look but rarely do they make it to the top of the mountain without it.

He has lauded Prince Devitt and has said he does technical wrestling better than anyone ever (“brought it to a new level”). I feel with Asuka, Rhea will look good in defeat or victory. Asuka does a Good Job putting people over & making people look good even in defeat. I am a huge fan of Rhea Ripley. I have been ever since she changed her gimmick from the young up and comer with a lot of potential sort of look that she had in the first mae young classic to the gimmick that she has now that she deputed back around the time when NXT UK premiered and she became the inaugural NXT UK Women's Champion. You can tell how this gimmick is a lot more her and more natural and comfortable compared to where she was in the first mae young classic. I can't wait to see her and Asuka's match at WM, if given the time and green light to go all out, it will be amazing. Though it really suck that most likely one of them will end up beating the other to either retain or win the title. I would rather it end with neither winning or losing like a double count out from them both being to beat up and exhaust from going all out or outside interference from someone like Shayna reclaiming her position and momentum as a singles competitor that she had in NXT and leading up to WM last year. I feel as though both of them can't really afford to lose at WM. And it suck that Rhea has to deal with those idiot internet trolls at all let alone it being about her body and how she looks. Personally, I think she is very attractive and I am glad she does not let those sort of comments bother her anymore.

I totally agree. I'm glad she has enough mental stability to not let those idiots bother her. Otherwise, we would all be robbed of being able to see how talented she is. I just hope Vince gives Rhea the title because even though I like Asuka she has had the title for a while now and Rhea has more than proved herself in the ring and she is more than capable of being the champ. She is VERY talented, beautiful (even though looks shouldn't matter AT ALL), can do excellent promos, looks and acts like a badass whether she's a babyface or heel. :-)

Ok, in terms of body image related to Rhea, she's different from the usual, not necessarily exactly like the typical mould. However, she's healthy, she's in really good shape, and for the body that Gods given her, she's getting the best out of it in terms of working out and optimising it, notike overweight or under either. She's different, but really good, maybe not everyone's type which like cool, but really good. People like need to learn to appreciate things which are outside their usual type but are really good. I'm not a fan of romance movies for example, not my thing, but I can still appreciate Titanic or Pretty Woman for example.
