This guy is a sweetheart. I would think the way he delivers his promos that he'd be a little bit of an asshole but every time I see him out of character you can tell he's a cool dude.

Adam Cole is such lovely and likable guy, my goodness. An absolute, warm sweetheart that is so grounded, self-aware, and fun. I've seen clips (i.e. his live reaction on Twitch when he got informed of Breeze's release), along with autograph stories on Twitter and Reddit, and fully recognized him as a tender, good dude, but this great interview made me officially become an Adam Cole guy. Genuinely love 'em - and I hardly ever say that about any public figures. Can definitely see him being the type of person that if any soul that speaks ill-word of them says more about that soul than anything else. Bless 'em. Want nothing but the best for him. Would love and feel so lucky to have him as a friend, ally, and peer.

I'm so happy for him. I think we all was worried about him going up to the main roster after what we heard which plans they had for him. I think his career seems to hit perfect timing after perfect timing. It's crazy. But I wish him all the luck and fun in AEW and hope he'll be around for a while. He's just amazing to watch and listen to :)

I don't even care what they discussed as plans, the point I was making is that whatever they tried to plan for him is just not good. Which by that I mean changing his name, look or possibly if he would've been a manager for someone. Adam Cole shouldn't be changed up, period. How was the saying: if it isn't broken don't fix it (or change it). Just look at what they did with Karrion Kross on the main roster. They changed him up, lost instantly which was stupid in itself and now he barely has any crowd reaction and is just not as good as he was in NXT (like most others). So whatever the case was for Cole, he's way better off that he left before he got the main roster call up of doom.

Always enjoyed your on-screen time at WWE (I felt like they really didn't know how good they had it with you) keep up the great work Renee. Shawn and Hunter's good friends from The Cliq left for WCW. Even then, it was more about the money than about the passion and the craft, like it is for Cole. There were no hard feelings there, so I'm not surprised that there's no hard feelings between them and Cole. If anything, Hunter and Shawn resent Vince for not seeing it in Adam Cole.

When I was four years old, I wandered into our living room and saw Ax and Smash cutting a promo with Sean Mooney. I was hooked. As a kid, all I wanted to do was be a professional wrestler and without question, HBK was my favorite performer. Alas, my body hit 5' 3" and stopped growing, so any realistic expectations of being a pro-wrestler kind of went out the door. To say I'm jealous of Adam Cole and his career path would be a tremendous understatement. Still, Adam Cole seems like a salt of the earth kind of guy, so I'm happy for all of his success.

Adam Cole graduated from NXT/the WWE (kindergarten, preschool, grade school / high school) and has gone to (junior) college/university (AEW): Cole has found his Happy Place; where Everyone there seemed Genuinely Happy/Joyful. Just from listening to these Adam Cole interviews, its pretty damn apparent that Hunter and Shawn should of been being running WWE a couple years ago. I honestly feel bad that their voice and vision is getting turned down. So many of my favorites speak so highly of them and I doubt everyone would of been released/left if they had a little more power.
