This was a great interview. Not only is Renee great at putting her guests at ease, it’s clear that the ones who know her - such as Punk - have a lot of respect and time for her, which says all you need to know about Renee as a person. Punk even gave Renee a shout out in the press conference after Rampage.

It takes guts to come out of your comfort zone and try something new for real. For this simple reason I'll always have respect for Punk. Love that he admitted the "I was already too old". Never mind Punk for that you'll never regret for not trying MMA. Always a fan.

It's a common mindset of the older gen, I worked with my dad who is a micromanager himself and it can be nightmare. I wouldnt put him with MJF, you need to keep building MJF, he has just had a big win so last thing you want to do is have him roll over for Punk.

Two things from this interview I noticed. 1. Punk's bedraggled appearance, complete with the shaggy hair and week old stubble. Love the commitment he had to no-selling these return rumors. 2. His shit-eating grin everytime a comeback was mentioned, he seemed legitimately giddy to return to the world of pro wrestling. And for a guy who's had his fair share of experiences with burnout, for a guy who hasn't outwardly expressed interest in returning, I gotta say, it makes his return that much sweeter.

Hearing Punk's statement at 50:52, "Above all, an interesting scenario, a story that would be fun to tell." Since he is coming back and wrestling Darby Allin at All Out in just a few days, this must be a story that he wants to tell and that, more than anything else, makes me excited to be going to All Out and watch that match. The whole card looks great, but if Punk wants to tell a story, you bet your a** I will sit down and watch. And the Larry morning song is fantastic!!
