Great interview with one of my favorite wrestlers. I have his WWE DVD and when he showed up in AEW I still have his match with Kenny Omega on my DVR. I love watching him wrestle, the hour long match with Adam Page was incredible. I’m new to AEW just having started watching it over the last couple of years. His Intercontinental title match with AJ Styles was one the best Smackdown matches of that year. I hope he is able to win the AEW World title before he retires. Again one of my favorite wrestlers up there with Bret Hart, for me.

@UFCWWE69
@UFCWWE69 Жыл бұрын
@@CulEdz he was literally the biggest babyface and on the run of a lifetime just a couple years ago so I thought a heel turn wasn’t the best idea. Bryan was becoming a bit stale after returning but still getting good reactions so I thought it was a bit hasty to turn him full blown heel so quickly and such a big departure from the character that got him over. I just felt they could’ve at least tried to give Bryan another top run as a babyface to see if he could get red hot again cause who wants to boo Daniel Bryan especially after all his injuries and struggles.
@CulEdz
@CulEdz Жыл бұрын
@@UFCWWE69 the thing with that is, you can’t get hot like you once were. Even how hard they try. He was over because he was the people’s champion. When he became the actual champion, you can see his character becoming stale because he was far more interesting as the challenger. Turning him heel was the logical sense and he was so great at it. And it eventually led to Kofimania (which I think is the last feel good moment in WWE).

His comment of changing clothes several times per day while filming Total Divas to pretend it was different days contrasts to Gold Rush where in one supposedly 3 hour sequence of a day where it would be one mechanical problem needing to be fixed, the entire team of miners changed clothes several times, one of them grew a beard, and there would be snow on the ground and white cloudy skies and then 20 seconds later its blue skies and not only is the snow melted but the ground is so dry it looks like they haven't had rain in weeks.
