Went from a outlander 650 xmr to a renegade 1000 xxcmr.

How they compare in gnarly and steep hill climbs?? I only rode Outlander 850, Polaris, and Grizzly and all feels very unstable on climbs and side rolling . Think ranagade has wider wheel spacing and lower height which make them more stable...

I'd have to go with the Renegade.... Not just because that is what I own, but because I have ridden both, and the sporty feel is much more appealing to me than the bulky feeling of the outlander. Only thing I feel the outlander has the advantage of is the rad relocate from factory on the xmr.

I like my renegade but my outlander is my go to most of the time. Just feels better to ride to me.

What about the difference in suspension? I've heard a few people say the renegade hits really hard compared to the outlander. I'm in the desert and need something to really soak up the rocks.

if you do long distance trail riding.. outlander is nice because of the rack and storage. Plus the plastics really do a good job of keeping you dry. Other than that- no difference between the two.
