Ben is so mad because of the strength thing. One word: Intangibility. If you cannot touch someone, strength means nothing. While flipping multiple cars attached to each other over a cliff is very powerful, it cannot match the force needed to punch through giant blocks of diamond-like teeth, or ripping the top off of a building, and flinging it across the city. One of the main reasons that Star Platinum's strength meant nothing, is intangibility. Another is that force does not work on Kenshiro. Only Stabbing attacks could really do anything, and this is proven by him being hurt by being stabbed in the gut by the knife finger guy, while being able to walk through collapsing skyscrapers. One thing not used in the battle, however, that is literally a free win for Kenshiro, is one of his ultimate techniques: Sōryū Tenra. Upon using this, his opponent and himself are transported to a world of nothingness. All armor, barriers, and defenses are destroyed, and the combatants are forced to fight to the death only using their bare hands, and the loser is erased from existence. Really, Kenshiro has so many crazy and weird attacks that it doesn't matter what Jotaro does. Kenshiro wins no matter what. Unless you use the non-cannon Reality Overwrite thing, but even then, you need to hit Kenshiro to use it, so Musō Tensei negates that.

He _has_ taken bullets to the body without suffering any damage. The only reason Shin was able to injure Kenshiro as badly as he did was because Shin was the successor and master of Nanto Koshū Ken, and could use _his_ ki to enhance his attacks similar to how Kenshiro fights. It should be noted that Shin could shatter diamonds with his _fingers,_ yet Kenshiro still defeated him in the end. Honestly, this battle could have been decided based on Kenshiro's _Tenha Kassatsu_ + ki clones, since this was one of the tricks DIO used against him that Star Platinum could not protect him from.

Mordirit Doesn’t really matter since Kenshiro is far stronger and much more durable than SP. Really Jotaro’s only advantage was the time stop and speed, and even that doesn’t make a difference since Kenshiro’s durability is far beyond anything that Star Platinum can do

well araki messed up a bit. I still don't like how Jotaro died but araki messed up his research. What Araki wanted us to focus on was the toughness of diamonds: How much force is needed to fracture an object. But diamonds are the HARDEST material: the amount of force needed to cut a different material. Diamonds in reality are actually quite brittle and can be easily broken. But this is just another, "Araki f-ed up his research" moments.

Hey Ben, I love you but this sort of thing works both ways. Yes, Jotaro could have easily started the fight by immediately crushing Kenshiro’s heart, but how often has he started a fight immediately with an unknown enemy by going for the heart Crush. Not DIO but Jotaro. By that same logic of immediately starting with a powerful move, Kenshiro could have started the fight and gone through the entire fight intangible and just gone up to Jotaro while intangible and killed him. Strength and durability mean nothing when you can not touch an enemy that can kill you with a single touch. This is not Gurren Lagann. You can not touch the untouchable here.

Well I mean Jotaro is pretty broken as well. He’s commonly dubbed as “the strongest stand” by the mangaka of JoJo, Hirohiko Araki (even though Jotaro isn’t THE strongest). I think it’s a little unfair to say that Kenshiro can touch Star Platinum if he himself doesn’t have a stand, but then Ken would be at an impossible disadvantage so I get why they didn’t go with that. Well to be fair, *in the analysis*, the strongest feat they gave Kenshiro was surviving the sky scrapper falling on his head which, by their own numbers, would have been equivalent to a bug landing on you when compared to the power behind SP punches that broke through solid walls of diamond; it's like saying "oh this guy survived a flick, of course he can survive Mount Everest being dropped on his head from outer space"; I think it was more just bad explanation by the narration, because from what they said Kenshiro could do and how much damage he could take, a single one of those diamond wall breaking punches should have turned him into broken pieces of bone and flesh.

Okay being a giant death battle fanboy I watch their podcast every Friday, Sunday on KZbin. So my first problem is that they have addressed that when they get info on a character they do not pick directly from canon, instead they only pick info that is about the character within reason, like on a commercial where kenshiro started straight up flying and blew up the sun by sneezing they would not take that as info to use in the fight, but instead they would take something like from the movie that is clearly supposed to represent the character according to the manga and show though it is not directly canon, also they also mentioned why JoJo and star didn't go straight into crushing his heart in the battle, they didn't do that because JoJo never did that reguraly in the show or manga and if you assume JoJo is going to start the battle with his most powerful move than kenshiro would have start off with his most powerful move musotensei , by the way all this info can be found on deathbattlecast is star platinum light speed go watch it and learn some interesting facts about behind the scenes of death battle.

Just pointing out that at the end of Seth's vid he straight up says Jotaro has no chance of winning against Kenshiro. He was just debunking the facts they tried to use as a basis to the fight. In terms who I think would win, it would be a tough call. It would all come down to how inventive Jotaro can be (which is typically why he always come out on top). So its genius vs martial arts prodigy. Also don't forget Kenshiro comes from a pretty screwed up world, where survival is everything. I would have rather seen Jonathan Joestar vs Kenshiro...cause Hamon vs Hokuto Shinken.

Kenshiro has more experience and like the video said, leagues stronger than Jotaro. All he really needed to do was attack Jotaro directly and just ignore and keep Star Plat at bay, that's it. SP's attack ain't gonna cut it either, Kenshiro can take tremendous amounts of punishments more than SP can deliver. DB hasn't even touched how Ken survived a full hit from his brother, Raoh, who can punch a hole through a building all the way up to the clouds. And yes, Musou Tensei is pretty broken; aside from intangibility and technique emulation, as stated in the final battle with Kaioh, Ken is at a complete state of focus in Musou Tensei in addition to precognition. Which means he would know what his opponent will do next, and lay his appropriate counter-attack. Musou Tensei is fucking god mode, the main inspiration to every shounen power-up you can think of. Most notably, Ultra Instinct.

If you say that Jotaro can use Time Stop and Heart Crush at the instant of the fight, then Kenshiro can most certainly also activate his intangibility at the start as well. And before you say that Star can hit Kenshiro before that, remember that other Stand users exist whose mental orders can direct Stands INFINITELY FASTER than Star, itself. Meaning that Star receives ORDERS only at the speed of thought. The time it takes for Jotaro to order Star to attack is the same amount of time it takes for Kenshiro to become intangible. It’s really no contest. Also, that whole list of things you say “aren’t canon” includes the very film in which the story OF Kenshiro is introduced (the ORIGINAL Fist of the North Star movie). Whoever made that list is full of shit.

The only reason Silver chariot stayed after Pol's death was because it became a requiem stand. A better example of a stand staying alive after death would be Notorious B.I.G or hell to a certain extent Killer Queen since after Kira became a ghost assassin he still had Killer Queen which may mean stands still exist post death, it's just they don't have enough range to stay inside the living world and need to stick with their users ghost as a result.

While Star is likely strong enough to give off two megatons in terms of power through the diamond punching feat, it kinda doesn't matter since Kenshiro can one shot basically anything. Even then, Kenshiro's ability to just be outright invincible is something Jotaro can't really fight against. And Kenshiro's more useful arsenal gave him more of an edge when stalling out Star Platinum to have an opening and getting in close for a kill

“Polneref dies, silver chariot sticks around” well his body’s dead but his spirit lives on inside cocojumbo the turtle. As for silver chariot, becoming separate from polerneref was kinda part of its ability when it went requiem since the entire purpose of its ability was to keep the arrow away from diavolo and keep moving. I’m not entirely sure if it stuck around after silver chariot requiem was defeated, I don’t think it is though, since we never see it again, which makes him the only person to have there stand permanently destroyed while they stick around.

To be fair, the strength feat might still have been useful as a way of demonstrating that Star Platinum would be knocked away by someone of Kenshiro's strength. It's an entity that couldn't hold up a 25-ton road roller, against a martial arts master that casually hauled around a 300-ton boulder without powering up.

Okay, Nate, you kept saying "I forget who's power that is" when it came to seeing Ken being able to see SP, and when he did the mirage clones. So I assume you thought they were powers he mimicked/copied from allies and rivals (as stated near the end of Ken's analysis). also if u want an example of why jotaro should have won, they say kenshiro wins because of his strength and having 1000 tons of skyscraper landing on him and he can just hit that hard, but previously in the video they said jotaro punched diamond with the force of 3 000 000 tons, 3 million tons is more than 1 thousand tons, also silver chariot was fast enough to also make reflective clones at his fastest and even when he wasent at his fastest could cut with such accuracy and speed he stopped the flames of avdols stand by slicing with such speed and precision it split the particals and just got rid of the flame, and thats before it got to its fastest speed, and jotaro not only beat silver chariot, but he stopped a bullet fired by a gun right next to his head before he even knows how he's doing it, and later manages to defeat a guy that stops time, considering he only became able to stop time after the fight had started, also silver chariot was a requiem stand when pollonarif died i think

Even if that feat is not canon, it still counts and he should be given it. Death Battles are SUPPOSED to be composite. For example: If they did a death battle with Black Cat, then Black cat would still have her bad luck ability and super soldier serum despite it not being the current comic canon.

The funny thing is even if they were to remove the building feat, that's actually on the _low_ end of Kenshiro's durability feats. I don't think the dumbass in this video realizes that Star Platinum doesn't have the necessary destructive power to injure Kenshiro, let alone kill him- and think ScrewAttack purposefully nerfed Kenshiro to make the fight seem closer than it actually was.

SciRei Fireshock Actually, that was a draw. Kenshiro was punched to space, where he most likely would eventually die from no oxygen. And Saitama had gotten hit in a pressure point and died.
