Remember Nate, Godzilla Minus One was made on a 15M dollar budget, and it won the Oscar for best visual effects. With 10M dollars you can make something epic.

From what I’ve heard, the budget of Godzilla Minus One, actually was 10 million dollars. So yeah, if a masterpiece like that was made on that, I’m sure it could be done again.

Minus one shows that lower budget movies are usually more creative due to them having to work with a major restriction and how to work around it. It's a tactic that doesn't always work, but when it does, it's great.

It's more common than you'd think that people will just assume someone is gay, especially 10-20 years ago when it was less common. If you kept to yourself and didn't always have a girlfriend, or you went years without one, you were suspect of being gay. When in reality you just didn't find a partner that fit right with you and you'd rather be single than in an unhappy relationship.

I mean, Samuel Koch thing WAS just a tragic accident. These are the risks of stunt work this could've happened to him on any movie set during his career. Obviously it's important to make things as safe as possible, but if it was completely risk free of any injury then there would not be a need for professional stunt doubles for actors. and the show did try to make it safe, the cars weren't going at full speed, now they should've had professional drivers but there's nothing to indicate that it was the car. He was a bit too low...and the cars, from what I saw were all the same as in the training he did beforehand.
@gothicMCRgirl5 ай бұрын
Yes, I’m sure as a professional stuntman, he knew what the risks were. And this was a stunt that HE pitched originally too, the show didn’t make him do it or even suggest that he do it in that manner. It’s unfortunate, but that’s just the reality of that profession. I’m thankful that he at least made peace with his situation and continued to do what he loved, entertain people.

The amount of people who've condoned the "gay panic" excuse for the Jenny Jones contestant being killed is ridiculous, I'm glad you guys said that it was no excuse for it. Like I can totally understand a straight guy being uncomfortable if a gay guy is hitting on him, but there's no "straight panic" for women who are harassed by straight dudes. Girls deal with guys being creepy, stalking, sending messages online or letters constantly. Most girls can't post a picture of themselves on social media without getting at least one flirty DM that we didn't ask for. If some people see "gay panic" as a valid reason to kill or hurt someone, then they should also be advocating for "rape panic" for women who deal with the shit the Jenny Jones killer dealt with daily. Do we get to kill people for hitting on us? Nope, so why should sexuality matter right?
@genshinplayersaregoofywhales4 ай бұрын
Everything is true but the show was long time ago. Back then, even if you weren't gay and had people of the same-sex to flirt with you, people would still outed you as gay and you can even lose your job. That's the reason why there's alot of serial killers targeting homosexuals in the 80-90s because nobody really cared about them.

Koch's accident was a freak one. Wetten dass does not give them the tasks. Rather, it would be the contestants themselves who give themselves the challenge. Koch believed he could do it, and with the way the stunt was organized to have the closest people in his life operating the cars. He fully consented to taking this big risk.

As an avaid fanfiction writer and reader i find your conversation on rpf (real person fiction) a common argument, and so while i understand and your completely within your rights to be uncomfortable with it, here is another perspective. When people write rpf sometimes its what they want to do to the actual person, but often times its not. Most of the time people know that the character they are writing is just that, a caricature of the person you are, because we dont know you and have only this parasocial relationship. A lot of blanks have to be filled in, and the character written is a person that shares traits with you but really isnt you. Just an idea. I havent really written rpf since i was eleven or twelve, and i wrote it mainly about my friends and i back then. I do write who killed markiplier fanfiction- but thats in universe fiction. Personally, i only find rpf when looking for crack fics to laugh about. I find people use them for satire a lot. Id also note that a lot of people who write fanfic (not all) wouldnt want the subject to read it. In certain cases if a fan sent you their smut fanfiction repeatedly id count that as harrasment even. Many fanfiction authors, especially older ones who remember the days when it wasn't accepted (not me im too young but ive read about it) dont want their fanfiction to spread outside of the circles they shared it, since it used to be a lot riskier to post. It used to be popular for some creators to read rpf fics outloud to make fun of them. Im happy that practice died out because a lot of young authors were greatly uncomfortable and hurt. In a way i understand that reading those fics would be uncomfortable for you. But if people tag responsibly and everyone follows basic respect guidelines in fandom then you should be able to easily steer clear of it. And if people dont follow the guidelines of respect then they are the problem. I hope this comment doesnt come off as anything harsh or negative, thats not my intention if it does, and im sorry. Fanfiction and the culture around it are one of my fascinations, although i dont think im hyper fixtating on it anymore, i was for a good few years. I just enjoy your videos and was hoping to provide another perspective on the situation in an attempt to provide some sort of relief? I dont know if that helped at all. Or was any new information. Or was explained well. But i tried. Thank you for making fun videos to watch and sharing your thoughts! Have a great day

I mean, the Ghost Watch thingy does become a bit more clearly fake when the wind starts blowing inside a studio and all THAT shit happens. It'd be a moment, when as an adult I'd begin to doubt shit. And at this stage, like if I saw it rn I'd probably burst out laughing. I'd also probs would get the gist the moment the thing with the little girl happened, because I know that at the very least BBC would cut the show THE SECOND they discovered it and it wouldn't even be shown and there'd be a break. It wouldn't continue on for like...an hour or so.

I might be reaching a bit here, but I'm fairly certain that the events presented in the story may've partly inspired some of the events in "The Conjuring 2". 🐍🐍 1. British family calls news network they're being haunted by a demon 2. family's daughter is caught on camera "faking" said haunting 3. said daughter later succumbs to demon's influence with a panic attack (within a room with a large cabinet/closet, mind you) 4. she gets taken to the living room, where she begins speaking in a deep [old man's] voice 5. demonic possession soon gets proven true by the sceptics, as the hauntings become monstrously hectic real fast. I'm just saying, there's some strong connection between the two. 🤔
