There's a joke saying that Mr. Frog was cancelled not for putting the guy in his mouth, but for not completely eating him like the bug and the show's illusion was broken. Him eating the executive restored that image.

There's an interview on the "Create Unknown" with Zach and Michael where they mentioned some interesting behind the scenes stuff about the show. One was that the dead dolphin was originally planned to be used for "Desmond's Big Day Out." Also when Mr. Frog is censored for what he said, it was actually the actor making a long hissing noise.
