Batman is at human peak (physically and mentally). Cap is just a bit above human peak. Batman can bench 1,000 lbs while Cap can bench 1,100 lbs. Only difference is that it took Batman tons of hard work to achieve it, while Cap was just given steroids

interesting but complete garbage the fight would last till Bats got tagged and then it's the beginning of the end.. a combo? would put down Bruce. people put too much stock in superbats. i think they forgot that bat is a telented fighter but the arts he uses rely heavily on stealth where Cap outright is built for outright cage matches. makes a huge difference. and if it were the ultimates captain America bats would die since he is an outright superhuman closer to Spider-man in terms abilities. but i guess each person has a different analysis

oh i know how to bet against Batman :).. i can think of 3 off the top of my head.. Batman Vs Deathstroke... deathstroke has it 95% of the time.. vs Lady Shiva.. i a fourth could be Cassandra Cain right before Flashpoint.. she already was good enough to keep up with him before she beat Lady Shiva (and Lady Shiva has handed batman multiple defeats)... and i would argue the comic book Black Canary is a much better fighter than Batman and she is a Meta...(although he is by far the better tactician)

especially since Captain America fought Spider-man when he had the Iron Spider suit that Iron Man gave him and was winning. Spider-man didn't even get a hit in until Peter activated the extra suit arms and even then he barely tagged Cap. if Spider-man has difficulty taking on the 616 Captain America who is weaker than the MCU Captain America (based on movie feats) and definatly weaker than the Ultimates Captain America who is an outright superhuman.. then Captain America should beat Batman 4 out of 5 times. the 5th time depending on if Batman actually manages to ambush Cap or the fight is very short.. if the fight is prolonged i don't see Batman winning he will tire while every Captain America will outpace him in terms of endurance.

Darkling276 For starters, Captain America is an amazing Tactician, better then even Batman. Secondly, he can easily hold his breathe if Batman uses any smoke attacks. Plus he has his shield which will nullify some of Batmans attacks. Here's what the Wikia says about his Speed: "Rogers can move at speeds equal to that of the absolute finest human athlete, capable of running at a sustained 30 mph (48 kph), though he has shown capacity to sprint at TWICE that pace over shorter distances when necessary." Wikia Durability 1: "His bones and muscles are denser and harder and so are amplified to the highest human potential, making him very durable." Yea, Batmans bones definitely aren't denser then Caps. Wikia Durability 2: "He is durable enough to the point that if a person beats him with a metal bat stick, the bat would break and Rogers would show little discomfort. This is how he survived other forms of extensive punishment throughout his career, such as a fall from several stories, like the time he landed on a car from 2000 feet, or a high altitude, low open parachute jump from ten miles up, with little to no injury." Yea, Batman needs armor, Cap doesn't(Not usually at least), and this is why. Wikia Reflexes: "Rogers' reflexes border on superhuman level. His reaction speed is 20 kph, which makes it possible for him to dodge gunfire, even at point blank range, from multiple shooters simultaneously." Again, this is why Batman wears armor, otherwise, it's usually just bull crap from the writers. He can exert himself at peak capacity for a *hour* without any rest and before showing any signs of fatigue. At one time, he is able to sprint for over *5* miles without any sign of fatigue." Which means he can easily out last Batman. Wikia Healing: "Rogers' healing speed and efficiency is at the highest limits of human potential, which means he can heal faster than most humans. The white blood cells and super-soldier serum in his body are efficient enough to fight off any microbe, foreign body, and other pathogens from his body, keeping him healthy and immune from all infections, diseases, disorders, etc. Rogers furthermore cannot become intoxicated by alcohol, drugs, or impurities in the air, and is thus immune to terrestrial diseases. Cap doesn't need as many fighting styles as Batman, the Wikia says: "He is considered one of the finest martial artists on Earth, which allows him to occasionally defeat foes who are master of *ALL* forms of combat, such as Taskmaster" His Shield Skills: "His years of training and experience with his unique shield, as well as its physical properties, allow him to accomplish amazing feats with the item. Not exactly. Sure, Steve Rogers (Captain America) is a lot stronger, faster, and skilled in hand-to-hand combat. But so is Bruce Wayne (Batman). Not to mention, he uses not only his combat skills but his own gadgets and his intelligence to take down most of his villians. The only weapons that Rogers has is his sheild. And don't get me wrong, the sheild is useful for Steve to defend himself and to throw at his enemies but it's still a sheild. And you do realize that no matter how strong a sheild is, it will break or shatter from something powerful as the sheild. So to be honest, I think it made sense that Batman won that.

And while Batman is peak human BP is definitely super human. In that fight Cap was looking for BP in a jungle and at night an environment that heavily favors BP. BP ambushed Cap from behind and cap was able to counter him mid move. How? Caps senses. He's got heightened senses and a level of precognition. He was able to determine where BP was attacking from because he felt the shift in atmospheric pressure caused by BP's leap. I'm going to say that again HE SENSED THE CHANGE IN ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE CAUSED BY HIS LEAP! Spider didn't even do that and Spiderman has precognition. He countered and then defeated BP in about 3-4 moves. Even BP says that Cap has a counter for every move he throws at him. So the stealth advantage will be of little help I'm

I felt Cap should have had that battle. If they are both going in with their standard equipment, then Cap would have the advantage with his superior strength, speed, and reflexes. In the DB match it feels like they really under estimated Caps skills for being a master tactician. He would never just toss his shield out at nothing like he did in the video; he's smarter than that. Also they gave Batman the advantage in martial arts because Cap has near mastery of several styles while Batman is a master of several styles; but if Cap is stronger and faster then they aren't really fighting on equal ground. Finally, it seems like DB just gave Batman the win because there is no way they could have Batman lose twice in a row.

maxdrags3 I did not say it would not hurt but it takes a lot of force his armor absorbs some damage. Captain would cause internal bleeding in a solid hit. Batman has dealt with injuries like that before. After the first hit he can and would switch up his style. Both bat nvmban and cap size up their opponents. The captain would put up a good fight but Batman would pull through.

They said they had the battle saved in case they needed a back up. One hard drive issue later and it was time to use it. Also it was apparently used to help give Nick research experience since they had nearly everything on Batman already.

Cap is a master at using MANY weapons, but he doesn't really like to use any of them except his shield. He will use a pistol from time to time though.

Fair enough. Then again, the Batsuit is bulletproof so I don't think it'd have made that big a difference, and Batman can probably predict he'd aim for the part of him that isn't covered, ie, his lower face, and could bring his cowl to protect him, so, eh, I dunno, just a minor detail that bugged me.
