The thing that makes me agree with this fights outcome is when they said iron man can just send the entire Iron Legion to fight Batman while just kicking back with cold one in his hand. Even if Batman had the other armors mentioned in this fight he’d just exhaust through all of his resources (and life force) while tony would be completely fine. But yea imagine this fight ended with Batman destroying all the armors realizing tony isn’t even there and dies from overuse of the Hellbat then just cuts to tony at one of his many beach properties kicking back.

The thing is, this battle started w/ Tony on the attack. If it was Bruce on the attack, he could've already located Tony in the first place. But then that would mean he's already prepared. The fair scenario would've been them bumping into each other.

The problem i have with that thought process is underestimates batmans intelligence greatly The reason i dilike the battle was because it wasnt batman vs iroman it was ironman versus some rich idot in a suit. Edit: if i had to choose which one I’d want it’d be the first ex i made also i think black cat would win against cat woman but it’d be a close fight Cat woman (just like Batman) has fought a lot of tough opponents with crazy powers while knowing a ton of martial arts and having a grand experience advantage. But Black Cat not only has better stats thanks to her costume (it boosts her speed, reflexes, durability and strength to contend with people like spider man and Doc Oc) but she’s also better at stealth surprisingly, she’s so good at stealth Spider-Man couldn’t even detect her with the spider sense accurately. Her gear is also better and (if they allow it cause doctor strange did remove this) she can manipulate the luck of anyone around her and even her own so thats a big one.

You guy's may not agree, but they didn't even use Tony's actual strongest armor, that God buster is his 3rd strongest armor, where his first is literal reality warping tech. Then add in the armor he could have used that would have absorbed everything the Hellbat threw at him and integrated that into that suit's arsenol, and yeah, Tony has many options to deal with Bats while also having the ability to perform prep time in what normally takes Bats weeks in the matter of hours if Tony so chose.

There's been more than enough battles where people out there put far more effort into their research only to come up with vastly different numbers and calculations that put one character laughably above another. But they never really go that far with it so they don't come up with the right numbers. And they've forgotten multiple things and have even outright made up things for a side simply because "yeah it could prolly do that naturally" when In reality it could only be done in the other sides verse under very specific circumstances. And then there's the whole 'travel speed does not equal combat/reaction' speed thing that they just *do not ever mention*. It makes most of their fights and the research done flawed and in most cases incredibly flawed and even outright wrong in some cases.

I checked the comments section for this video, and the most frequently discussed topics are the upcoming "Goku Black vs Reverse Flash" and whether or not the research team got this fight right. I personally am not bothered by it for multiple reasons. 1. While I do acknowledge the possibility that the research team missed something, especially with how much material both sides have to pull from over the DECADES of stories about them,, it's still more research than I'll ever do. As such, I doubt I could do any better in terms of correcting such misconceptions. 2. I might be invested in the results of these "Death Battle" episodes to a degree, but that's more for my personal side-thing of figuring out what the combatants can do and how to make them more effective in the field, with extra focus given to the winners. Countering weaknesses. Learning about more resources to add to their arsenals. That sort of thing. And since Batman and Iron Man have already won previous matches before, I didn't have to worry about adding an entire new arsenal list and its user to my roster. More like expanding the lists for names added back in season 2. Point is, I just don't have the same kind of passion for predicting and debating vs matches so widespread in comment sections like this. 3. Both the real life around me and the echo chamber of self-loathing that is the inside of my skull have MORE than enough negativity surrounding and penetrating them. I have a hard enough time coping without adding more by trying to argue about the results of any given "Death Battle" match. Heck, just typing this alone has caused the echo chamber to flare up and call me a selfish hypocrite for claiming to leave others to their opinions despite past cases where I did question others for their choices, both in fiction and in real life. So yeah, I don't see me lasting long in any such debate. Point is, I enjoyed this reaction video and look forward to similar ones in the future of this channel. I just don't expect to partake in any heated debates about them.

Alright so the amount of energy needed to destroy the earth is about 10³² joules or about 100 nonillion joules of energy that's 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, so at 2% Tonys Sun laser is capable of that. Dividing that by .02 for 2%, means at full charge the hammer would be capable of at least 5,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 joules, 50³³ joules, or about 5 Decillion joules at a minimum. At least according to my poor math skills and Google

The problem is you strip away tony is just to quote himself "playboy billionare philanphropist" sure he's a genius but unless he is given sufficient time to build something, you take away all his gadgets and he's just a smart dude who can fight tactically using tech... but bruce has no such crutch he can fight in hand to hand combat using the various martial arts so given they're in a desert and both tony and bruce's armours or suits (and back up call devices) are completely wrecked bruce is more than likely gonna win! to be clear i'm an iron-man fan I grew up on it... but the end of the day batman litterally has a bat god protecting him, iron-man has no such plot armour! EDIT: damn did not see that coming... it's funny cause my gut told my he was gonna pull something out of his 4$$ but I was like but he's batman how you gonna beat that... and I forgot iron-man always has the last say and it's always I am iron-man (it's kinda funny they both just state what they call themselves as their main catchphrase) If there was a universe where they fought it would be a war and I don't see it coming to an end till they're both old men in a grundgy but sci-fi futuristic future (like batman beyond) but I picture them just beating eachother senseless in the end or becoming friends but if it was a grudge match i don't see it being this fast they're both playing 6 dimensional chest their contingencies have contingencies... the real batman would of had a contingency for the nanosuit in his body and found a way to counteract it... they always have a contingency both bruce and tony I think the problem is with a death battle is that these 2 characters don't know how or when to die the only way one of these guys would really come out on top is if the other conceded which is very unlikely... perhaps bruce would realise how pointless the fighting is and give in to tony because tony is too arrogant to stop but bruce knows he'd be better as an ally than an enemy so he'd appeal to tony's ego and let him win because he knows that the if the battle continues other people would get hurt if we are talking cartoon or comics tony... i'd argue tony in his latter years in the mcu after civil war and age of ultron began to learn his life lessons and wise up growth that didn't seem to happen so much in other media formats! that is to say cartoon and comics (and even videogames) tony is still a prick! but tbh I can't picture a reality where these versions of the characters would realistically fight seriously because they have the most in common... sure bruce would likely be annoyed with the boisterousness of tony but they both can act serious when it's needed and it's not like bruce hasn't messed up sometimes however rare it is... tony is good cop bruce is bad cop but it would be awesome to see them both as superhero cops it would be a great matchup like starsky and hutch, men in black, bad boys and the list just goes on and on... this is a duo for the ages i'd love a tv show where marvel and dc set aside differences and make a show heck they don't even need their suits just tony and bruce would be a great show... they could be detectives!

You point out Tony being not as good of a fighter as Batman, which is true, even though he is quite elite after being trained by Captain America & Black Widow. What you are kind of ignoring is that Bruce doesn't build any of his own weapons or suits. If nobody ever helped Batman with his suits or tech, he'd be nothing more than a skilled martial artist. Whereas Tony got as powerful as he did with his own mind.

I argue that Batman and Iron man will always be a highly debatable pairing on who would win. Batman in his Final Batsuit would 100% win but if we left that one out then it's definitely debatable. Both have gone toe to toe with their versions of Darkseid/Thanos and won and that's basically where I scale their abilities up to. I would say they'd just go back and forth until they couldn't physically fight anymore.

Second, they already established Superman can hear across the Galaxy in the vacuum of space when someone sends out a signal for him, so why make Batman call out to him? Surely if Superman can hear from that distance, he can hear from the fucking Watchtower. And even if he didn't, hitting Tony with the Watchtower would 100% draw his attention. You gotta do a LOT of suspension of disbelief for Tony to even have a chance here, really. Cuz realistically, Superman would've already shut this down. XD

I love Batman, like y'all he is my favorite superhero but he doesn't stand a chance. Especially when they introduced the godbuster suit, that's when I knew 100% he was done. I stand by my stance that both narratively and logically, it would have made more sense for the suit of armor to start forming around Tony, then Batman says something like, “I can hack too.” Or something more catchy. Point is it is a stretch to assume Tony, who has (to my knowledge) no experience with sleight of hand, could sneak something on the suit of Batman of all people. Moreover, Batman CAN hack technology just like Tony and obviously has experience with sleight of hand since he often uses hidden gadgets to gain advantages.

I'm not saying he couldn't do anything, but if I'm being honest, I just don't think Batman can fit too well into the Death Battle format. Batman's somebody would actively counter-prepare somebody when possible. He'd have gadgets & so on specifically for Tony Stark, maybe even to stop those nanomachines, but in something like Death Battle, you only come at each other with everything you have already established exists. Batman simply isn't going to have anti-Tony Stark technology (which in many ways is required of a battle like this), but Tony Stark will only by virtue of having the vaster tech knowledge. In a comic, I could easily see it being more 50/50, but with everything they have presently, Batman just seems to inherently have a disadvantage here.

@@ron4tron I see what you mean. Honestly I don’t know how hacking works so I can’t say with any certainty. However given the parameters in Death Battle, the way this played out didn’t make sense, whether it be death battle rules or comic rules. Batman does work with preparation as his main tool against enemies. However he also is incredibly talented at adapting to foes on the fly. Granted Tony is decent at that but a little more stubborn in his approach. The point is that even though the fight isn’t an exact “how it would go down” it is an indicator how it would go down, and thus should be cohesive. If Tony stuck a suit on Batman, Batman would 9/10 times notice and be able to sneak it back onto Tony. Given that Death battle rules eliminate moral such as no killing and Batman has correctly induced the events happening in an entirely different universe, he could easily assume a self destruct protocol and after hacking the suit (assuming Tony is too distracted to notice) would use said self destruct protocol. That’s the point I’m trying to make.

I'd give Batman the slight edge in adaptability, and an edge in keeping cool & maintaining a level-head. Likely unmatched in both regards. But he simply didn't have the tools. Again, his preparation not being as much of a factor as it would be in comics realistically here, he would also struggle *immensely* trying to hack into Tony Stark's technology, of all things. Even if his AI wasn't working against it (which is a very likely possibility). That's an even more upwards battle. I understand your point though, but I suppose we'll just agree to disagree. And in all fairness, I think there could very easily be an alternate Death Battle where things operated a little differently, and I'd bet on Batman winning over what we have here, for sure.

Also, I was a little annoyed, since they used the E-Scape, which has been destroyed. The God Buster is all fun and good, but the E-Scape is gone. The Godbuster armour itself has been rebuilt outside of the E-Scape post it's destruction, and the God Killer mark 2 ( the one that fought the Celestials) never relied on the E-Scape in the first place, so it's pretty easy to justify him just rebuilding the Godbuster when he needs it.

Also just to clarify the multiverse thing, both Marvel and DC have significantly larger universes than our own, with Marvel only having vague mentions of size (like a Silver Surfer scene happening 2 trillion lightyears away from Earth), currently as it stands, DC DOES has the larger singular universe, but Marvel's singular universe is actually a microcosm, as Odin himself states that all ten realms exist as universes within the same universe, with each realm being roughly the same size, and every universe has these 10 realms (technically Odin actually implies that there are infinite realms, likely referring to the realms of Olympus, and other pantheons but let's keep it simple) to layer on top of this, DC's multiverse is actually significantly smaller, as below the Godsphere we only have 52 universes, where as Marvel has literal infinite. Take this how you will, but basically Universe goes to DC, Universal Microcosm and Multiverse go to Marvel

EMP won't work, also I disagree with without the Suit, Tony is better than Cap and Winter soldier and others, each I can see beating batman, as we seen in UFC, to much mixed martial arts isn't useful vs material one or two, hence why kickboxing, boxing, and Wrestling are the big 3 used usually, don't get me wrong as man Batman I'd say wins but like 6 times out of 10, not 100%, Iron man yeah in a suit, but kinda held his own close range vs Steve and Winter... batman would of lost that as he's lost simular scenarios before.
