Actually Walter reverse aging does make sense. The Doctor said that becoming an artificial vampire requires some time, and that process completely halts aging. Bring that process on too quickly like in Walter’s case, and the aging process actually *reverses*.

Edit: In all seriousness, it was the Nosferatu (1922) that I believe was the first depiction of a vampire directly burning to death from the sunlight. There’s also a contentious idea that the folklore included this weakness and eventual vulnerability to the sunlight is part of their curse, stemming from the idea of the sun being inherently cleansing and representative of God’s love, something that these monstrous creatures could no longer stand to witness.

This is the one major flaw consistently with this channel is that it does not think to test the water before jumping the gun on skipping stuff and therefore it misses quite a bit when it comes to reacting to shows. Which when you think about it really doesn’t make sense why are you skipping anything in the first place? Why are you in a rush to finish the video? Going off of your Dracula discussion, the implications I got from the original novel was; while he wasn't harmed by sunlight, he was more vulnerable in daylight (as he couldn't use his powers). This would mean, in keeping with the predatory nature of vampires, the Count would flee to the safety of his coffin to avoid a scenario where he'd be at a definitive disadvantage.

Also the ones giving them a strike are not the creator of the abridged series, I believe it’s the company responsible for the English dub of the original SAO. I’m not fully sure, all I know is that it’s not the creators of the abridged series that are striking them. Sorry for not knowing more.

She didn't ever appear in the Hellsing mythos, but..? To my knowledge, there was a Vampire (although unlike her real-life counterpart/inspiration) that was active during that time, that would have been at LEAST on par w/a fully unsealed Alucard - Elizabeth Bathory de Esced. (AKA "The Blood Countess") was an INCREDIBLY strong Vampire (She & Alucard, technically..? would be ranked as Vampire Lords i.e. several orders of magnitude stronger than a Master Vampire). Given her prowess in magics, she would have been a VERY credible rival to The Crimson Fucker. As for Seras..? It took her willingly drinking off a human completely (as she did w/Pip) to finish her change. Also, while Alucard is Patient Zero for his type of Vampirism, He is HARDLY the first. That dubious distinction belongs to the biblical Caine. (See White Wolf & Vampire: the Masquerade for details...)

Something i never thought of first time i watched the anime myself, Since he has Shrödinger's powers, he is literally immortal in every sense of the word...but Alucard WANTS to die...when there are no more monsters, he wants to die by the hand of a Human, but since he is quite literally immortal, he will NEVER die. Pretty sure in his eyes, that is the worst possible excistance. I suppose he could technically Will himself away, but iirc, aslong as someone Remembers him or thinks of him, he cannot do that, and will always return, since they are aware of his excistance, he would have to become a Hermit for a couple generations.

It took me a virtual degree in physics to actually fully comprehend how they beat alucard but I finally have a good idea. They actually did a relatively good job of explaining it here,basically on the card by all intents and purposes is invincible he cannot be beaten by any realms of our reality. However Schrodinger's cat is basically an idea that anything is possible so long as it remains unobserved. For anyone who doesn't know basically the idea was if you take a cat put it in a box with an element that has a 50% chance of randomly going radioactive killing the cat, until you open said box that cat is both dead and alive. In theory so long as nobody looks inside that box you'll never know whether it's alive or dead perpetually leaving it in a state of immortality. This opens up a whole can of worms because because if you start thinking about it there are other ways you can apply it leaving an infinite number of possibilities. In ALA carte's case he had several million souls inside of him so he suddenly became Schrodinger's cat basically meaning he was able to see every possible reality, every possible outcome, and every possible choice. Then take that and multiply it by several million quite simply it just broke alucard. alucard cannot be defeated by any mortal means so instead basically what they did is that they exposed him and all the souls inside of him destroyed resulting in them eventually cycling through a reality where they do end up getting defeated. Basically I look hard went through a whole bunch of realities and basically became a god able to see everything, with this heceasing to exist where he just blips out. The abridged does it a bit differently, the same kind of idea applies however they made it to where he is his own problem. alucard spent his entire life just kind of going through it never really thinking about his actions so suddenly faced with practically infinity out in front of him he started thinking and he eventually asked if he was a bad person leading him down a rabbit hole and then he basically just ceased to exist.
