Renewed my mini braids after nine weeks 💃💃 #1

One of the best ways I have been able to stretch my relaxer is through mini braids because it makes it easier to manage my hair and still carry out my hair routines such as daily moisturising, weekly shampooing and weekly steaming with out having to worry about my hair getting rough or smelling.
But when you leave your protective style for as long as nine weeks, the hair is likely to get rough expecially at the root where the new growth comes from and this is just fine because it is all natural. I mean who doesn't want to witness new growths.
So what do I do to return it back to a cleaner look???

Love this!! Your hair is so neat!! This is most DEFINITELY my hairstyle of choice during the summer months! Love me some mini braids! And in the winter, I wear 7 cornrows going into a small low bun.

@@iambelinda I switched to twists haha but still going in both all year mini twists and mini braids, currently wearing mini twists for the spring/summer and will go back to mini braids for fall/winter

Mine can't either but we are on a less hair manipulation goal this year so I just look away😂😂 The result is always rewarding in the end. Be patient dear ❤️

Lolz I keep mine for 16 weeks…meaning I comb my hair only 3x a year…I retain minimum 6”

@@sammie1122 yes I wash my hair every 2weeks without fail with a moisturizing shampoo n once in 2 months with a clarifying shampoo bc my henna treatment is a must every 2 months and yes I henna my hair still in BRAIDS!
