I think he gives good advice. Paladin, Druid, and Hunter are the ones I started with. When trying a new game I tend to take classes with a heal.

The problem is when you get to end game and you realize that being a dps is very hard to get into groups if you are low RIO and low ILVL, if you are a tank or a healer you get insta invites.

Best advice i used to use in both cardio like running, and World of Warcraft! Don´t think about anything else then just to begin, the rest you´ll learn along the way! There is no right way to have fun!

I started as Destruction Warlock but now am a Mistweaver as our guild needed a 2nd healer to complement our godlike one in Shey a chap from our guild. I love the mobility and crowd control options I have for pvp plus as a healer you can have a much greater effect on the outcome of a raid or battleground.

I love the hunter. First class u ever made when wow was first released...but I always end up playing a healer or tank. Because they're more in demand. I've always been a pala tank & love them but the pressure is now to be a vengeance DH. Been tanking with it over a week now & miss my pala, but ppl want the DH. I think other tank classes need a boost to make them more competitive with the DH.

For first time players I recommend healers like Priest or Monk or Druid. But Tanking first timers would be Pally. It's all how you feel like Mages uses Portals and hunters you can tame pets. Warlocks are also good.

Ren these are awesome and explained so well it makes a long time player like me remember how much fun these classes can be. Warrior is my favourite class Pally DK close 2nd. Warrior can be slow leveling, hunter is fun and way quicker to level IMO. Be well brother 🤟🤟💪💪

If you just want to single player things, it doesn't matter what server you pick. Server only matters if you have plans to join a guild and what server their guild is on.

There are new players in WoW retail? I find that more surprising than anything. I wonder what new player retention is like, I would suspect it is quite low.

@@Renfail I thought I would look into that data you were talking about. Here is what I have found. The last 12 months of data show that whilst there has been a significant upswing over the November to January period, that is offset by shrinkage for almost all of the 9 months before and what looks like the beginning of shrinkage again. Whilst it does look like WoW has been showing consistent upswings for a single quarter, this has not maintained into the next. Perhaps this will even out and retention will remain high, but there is not enough data to back that up yet. It should be interesting to see what happens over 2024. One thing to mention with Rogues , is theyre awesome for pvp ganking. Good video. I enjoyed it. Except its a warrior. Not fighter. Lol. I know you know....but WARRIOR. lol. I also agree ...druid is all round fun for anyone. So much versatility. Love me a druid.

I need help actually, first thank you so much, I just found your channel, great video, I can tell you are a genuine helper, and Teacher! I'm actually previous player, I started in vanilla; BC was about 4 months from dropping, and I played ⅞ths the way through MoP, and then I had to quit, I turned my Guild Over to a reliable member who in 2 years max, I would return and the guild was to be returned to me...that was in 2014.... I had gone back to school and did my EMT later, a few years my Paramedic, but I did those as I went through a Fire Academy, became a Captain, then after about 7 years I was injured and forced to medically retire. And because I don't to too much during the day, I have some serious free time, and been thinking about returning to WoW...I loved the stories and questing, as well as the friends you can make. But I am scared I lost all my toons and oh God all the mounts and pets I had, anyone have an idea as to how long they (Blizzard) keep an inactive account? I've heard different thoughts on this. I've heard of I had more than 2 lvl 100 toons my account would be held on to for 5 years, well I had 8 toons at level 100, someone told me if an account is before BC it's considered a founder Account and they don't delete those, lol I've heard so many things but there are 2 that come up the most. 1: accounts are held for 10 years if the account has 4 characters at or over lvl 50, 15 years if over 4 characters and all are over lvl 70. 2: no matter what all accounts are held on to for 25 years, though I'll need assistance from Blizzard to reactivate the account. I hope it's the last one because I had some really cool mounts I don't think you can get anymore. Any help, and what number would I call? I remember in the early days, just to prove I had played that long ago, I remember: A Hunter had to buy Bullets or arrows for the rifles, pistols, or Bows. There was an ammo count. Hunters also used mana not whatever the yellow bar was, which was green at first then later changed to yellow like the rogues. Mages, Priests, and Warlocks used to have wands they had to build up on skills with especially hand to hand combat or Sword work, most Alliance folks went to the Stockade in SW to practice. Mages used to have to buy ruin stones from vendors that would allow them to teleport themselves or a group. These ruin stones stacked up to 20 each, but original you could only hold 6 of each and they not stack so they hogged up bag space, and they cost 1 gold then later 75 silver then 25 silver. Warlock's used to have to cast breathe underwater on the demons or they would drown. Hunters, Warlock's and DKs used to be able to name pets, demons, or zombies. When BC dropped, the Fel Reaver wasn't out and about, then when he was introduced later it could sneak up on you and scare the crap out of everyone! Just weeks before Cata dropped, the entire world of Azeroth shook, it was really annoying. I was there and logged in to experience the sudden death of all. When someone hacked into Blizzard and had that cheat on repeat Death to all. Before Dgn Finder we use to sit outside instances waiting to people to ask to make a group, or make a group by joining or when people were ready in far away cities or towns we would all target that person and use the summoning stone. I remember when 50 was the max lvl, then it went to 60 then 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, and of course 90, 95, 100. Hunter Elite pets tamed on Beast Master, would maintain their special abilities. And back then, any animal could be tamed even the Murloc, but then when WotLK dropped that stopped and if you had one it was gone you would get a letter in you mail box that read how thankful you Murloc was to be owned by such a kind hunter and you were thanked but it, and as a parting gift it gave you a single scale as a reminder, it was trash worth 1 copper. Then it seems like we all kicked ourselves for trashing it because it was worth thousands on the auction house as it was a rare drop for a potion....anyway I could go one but I think I proved my past. And bonus if Alliance and you see a horde undead, type KEK ....it LOL to the Horde Player and it's the same in reverse. At least used to be.❤
