What kind a ventilation would be best?
@uggali6 ай бұрын
@@SaintShion just a couple of windows
@jessemcinnis95246 ай бұрын
@@SaintShion there are many different ways to have ventilation for a greenhouse, since it was a do it yourself plan( which I love by the way!) I would have maybe used an old window that could open and just frame it in, it also depends on a few things you know? Types of plants growing, location and temperature. Does it snow there? They could be place on the roof or even on one of the walls! They also even make automatic ones and stuff that can be set up in a timer. Now the fan or air circulation is important for a few things. First it simulates wind for plants and seedlings so that they build stronger roots and become “bulkier” or just stronger in general, then it also helps with heat distribution and movement, decreases the chance of fungus and pests, things like that! I hope this helps. I’m a Cobb county master gardener in Georgia, so let me know if you need anything else. You can also contact your local county extension office for any and all other info!

@theoriginalmonstermaker6 ай бұрын
@@motog4-75 he meant that the angle the roof is on, combined with the thickness of the lumber (since the roof panel is attached on top), makes a gap at the front and back edge of the roof. That should allow quite a bit of heat to escape by convection... but that's a problem in itself if you want the plants to be protected from cold in spring/ fall. Also, regardless of temp, plants need a breeze to shake them and build stem strength, so a fan would be a good addition.

The winds will pick up trampolines and move them more than a mile away from their original location. I would love a green house though.
