Awesome video Aaron . That’s really good capacity for a 100ah battery . renogy has great products but as you said when things go wrong , the customer service is appalling is absolutely true . Thanks for the shout out mate . Very much appreciate it . 👍🍻

I have Renogy gear. I had a problem with a meter and I can say the help was excellent. They replaced the meter quickly once the fault was confirmed.

Reat vid there mate. Looking forward to you fitting it. I've just installed a Redarc bcdc charger, smart shunt and 1kw inverter in the back of my ute. For a battery I've ordered a Voltx 200ah.

Thanks mate. I already have a redarc bcdc running my old battery as well. Not sure about an inverter yet. Something to think about.

To be honest I haven't had any time to install it in the patrol. Hoping to do that in the next couple of months.

Nice vid mate 👍 Any update on how the battery is travelling a year later? And do you know the difference between the smart 100ah renogy and the 100ah with Bluetooth? Is there different cells/functionality? Or is it just Bluetooth? Seems the Bluetooth 100ah is $50 cheaper than the smart at the moment but can't really see the specs too well . . .

Thanks mate. I can't give a proper update as I've only just fitted it into the patrol in the last month. I did like the way it performed though on its first outing. I'm the same as you. I thought the only difference would be the Bluetooth. I could be wrong though.

@@4x4EastCoast ok cool 👍 whatcha been doing all these months? 😜 The wired part is with the 2 types - one says smart which you would assume is Bluetooth and the other doesn't say smart but says Bluetooth?!? Confusing! You have the smart one don't you? Does that have Bluetooth? Why did you choose that one over the other?
@briang7870 Жыл бұрын
The smart one has pouch cells and data connectivity. To use Bluetooth you need a separate dongle as it's not built in

How long would this take to charge say with your car or your solar panel 200w? roughly

How do these compare with Volt X batteries?
@WizzRacing2 жыл бұрын
You don't run these down to zero.. That extra 100wh is needed for the charger to work right. As you need a 2volt reference for the charger to work...Unless you want to get out another battery and jump start it...
@joaovictorf.carvalho4582 жыл бұрын
shouldn't the internal BMS have stoped the discharging?
@4x4EastCoast2 жыл бұрын
Yep. The charger had no worries charging it back up so I'm guessing there was still a small amount of charge for the charger to detect.
