Roffle addresses this sometimes on stream. Not everyone in Wild can play all the decks. It makes sense that they focus on the metadecks for their crafting.

Its pretty much a better cheaper whizbang if ur able to get the renounces fast. Not a bad deck for people starting out just craft 2 renounces and fill deck with rando warlock cards and pray for an early renounce

Would you consider buffing Renounce to also getting an upgraded hero power to be enough to make the deck more viable? Or is the 1 mana discount enough to counteract the randomness of the deck?

Renounce occasionally gave upgraded hero powers for awhile and it wasn't enough to make the deck viable. The in consistency of the cards/class you get will always be the limiting factor.
