Very nice for an older home. But I DO NOT like that the Dining Room is so far from the kitchen! If I am having a big BBQ I would not want people traveling through my Living Room with food just to get to the Dining Room, whomever came up with that concept is truly backwards!!! I would switch the two rooms, but it is a very cute house....

A big BBQ means those jokers should be in the back yard and few in the kitchen. The powder room would be very convenient in this one. I would not let them sit on my good dining room furniture ! I understand your point however :-) THANKS

I kinda agree with Max let them folks sit in the yard for the bbq. I'd have a nice patio table with a big umbrella and lawn chairs...plus if anyone wanted to be inside they could go to the basement, there's a bathroom there..the only ppl that I'd let in the house is the elderly folks...kids and young folks get out in that yard...lol that dining room would be for Sunday dinners, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Beautiful home! I live in Southern California - that house would cost 500,000$ easy here! I have one question, how does that door out of the basement work in rain and snow?

There is a drain at the bottom of the stairs outside of the house, going into the basement. There was a 5 inch elevation between the very bottom landing and the threshold of the basement door. I would avoid it in the snow, for safety reason and simply use the door off of the deck, if needed. We don't get that much snow here. Great question !

Honestly Me that was one of my concerns and I couldn’t see where you would put a tv in the living room. You would end up eating every night at the counter or downstairs in the basement because you would turn that into a family room because there’s no place upstairs. You have to be careful of falling in love with aesthetics and losing functionality.
