Guido is a man who appreciates his food and why not when he has a chef for a wife and a bountiful garden filled with delicious fruit and veggies. The terrace on top of the chicken coop would look stunning and benefit from a beautiful pergola on half of the roof to eat underneath when the sun is blazing. Take comfort from the fact here in Australia we also have to wait many many months to have builders come to erect outbuildings or do renovations. The universe has taught my husband and I patience and I think it’s a common lesson all humans need to learn. We waited 11 months for a colour bond garage! Which was unheard of pre-COVID. All of humanity is on journey to look within for joy and contentment while acknowledging gratitude for what each of us in our life 🙏 Meditation helps with calming the mind and the nervous system. Look to the past for rituals that focus our minds on being grateful to the farmers who grew our food, the loved ones in our lives and find your tribe (the souls that resonate with yours) and spend time with them. Thank you so much for sharing your life and progress with us! I especially found the information about mental health so moving. I have just left my 2nd narcissistic marriage at the age of 56 years old and have realized over the past year that I am suffering from a life of trauma from my childhood, through to my marriages. I now find myself needing to try and put myself in remission from Fibromyalgia. Therapy is first and foremost on my mind to have some peace in my mind, soul and physical health. Kylie, I found myself so blown away with gratitude this morning, playing your video.I played it while massaging an elderly man neighbour friend who suffered a stroke. You guys dispel the myth that therapy or struggling with mental health is shameful, or weak or wrong. The mason did a lovely job on your your wall. Bruschetta is a great light summer dish. I like to roast my garlic add a bit to olive oil, spread onto a good heavy bread and light toast it. I also like to add just a splash of basalmic vinegar. Add just before eating the bruschetta otherwise the vinegar will start to "cook" the tomatoes.

I noticed you don’t remove the germ from your garlic clove Kylie. An Italian chef taught me that it should be removed as it imparts a bitter flavour which is unpleasant. Whether your garlic has a green sprout or not the germ should be removed. Split the clove lengthwise and pull out the central germ, then chop or crush the clove as usual. I also crush my garlic and cover with plenty of good quality olive oil as I learned it enhances the medicinal properties of garlic. 🙏 Happy cooking

Hello Kylie, hope you guys are dealing well with the horrible weather there! Our planet is melting!! I went to the supermarket yesterday and one of the clerks all of a sudden said " do you know that today's temperature in Italy is 120 degrees? (Fahrenheit) i said "what that's crazy! are you italian?" He said "no it was in the news!" I am very much afraid that all these climate changes are the result of global greenhouse gas emissions . Even in Southern California where probably we have the best weather in the union the weather has changed over the years. The first thing i noticed was that usually humming birds at this time of the year are coming around my house cause i always put feeders but now i stopped doing that cause they arent coming this year. I am sure this has to do with all this weather changes. Is very sad 😢. My husband who is greek said that California is heaven in that aspect he said he never got used to the weather in his country during summer. Regardless i am still going to relocate to italy even if i burn to dead! 😂. Changing subjects i noticed you have a sewing machine ?, would you mind showing it to us? I totally love vintage sewing machines ! I recently i inheritaged my mother in law's sewing machine which according to her has belonged to 3 generations, that machine is probably 200 years old!😂. Unfortunately the machine is in greece and my husband couldn't bring it cause it weights a ton, so is better i bring it to Italy from greece. Any way a big hug for the 3 of you and i am sorry for my long message. Take care, now you have a nice pool to get relief from the hot weather ❤.

Thank you Kylie for another beautiful video. I enjoy watching your adventures every week and see the progress. We are facing a very big renovation in our house (and bakery! I have a bakery), and it scares me a lot. It won't take such a long time but it will be costly. From the other hand it's so important to feel comfortable and happy in your own home. I wish you a cool day and many joyful hours in the swimming pool :)
