I'm an RN,BSN labor room nurse of 30 yrs in America. A- Glad to hear you're not having a home birth! Too dangerous. B- tell your doctor and ALL the nurses in OB about your last experience and where it was. They will go out of their way to make sure you're experience this time is better, especially to show up the other hospital, lol. Don't be shy about it. You're not bothering them. Remember, the other staff was very unusual! C- make sure EVERYONE knows you hemorrhaged last time. I can't tell you how important that is. Tell every new nurse you get. It may not happen again, but it can. They will make sure to get all your labs drawn and have blood ready for you if you need it. I can't stress that enough. Don't assume they know. ❤

Just another incredible episode!! What an epic farm house kitchen. You have a way of making one feel a part of what you do and present. Kylie, I wish you all the best for your upcoming labor and birth. Another very special journey about to happen. From a midwife to a mamma having her 2nd baby.....most often a very different and hopefully quicker process 🙏 . I will be thinking of you as the time comes closer, sending you positive thoughts and an incredible healthy experience. Exciting ❤ Zoe 🥀

Nice video Kylie 👍🏻. Surroundings, people, hospitality, joy, humbleness, mankind all these are there in their purest form. Very nice. Actually agriculture is the purest and best profession in my view. Simple and healthy , wealthy countryside living is my favourite. Far from the madding and greedy crowd indulge in useless and hollow rat race. ❤ love from India 🇮🇳 👍🏻🙏🏻

How cool! We were in Assisi on Day 1 of the G7 - che confusione per i turisti! Menomale, siamo stati lì anni fa perché la Basilica è stato chiuso in quei giorni per i turisti.

Love everything about what Mrs Gondi lives by . Amazing food , what an amazing kitchen. I to would rather eat at home than restaurants .i take pride in making my own food choices . We just came back from southern Italy the food from the farms we visited was amazing . I to wish people would slow down in like and live more simply

What a gift! Grazie per tutto, Kylie. I felt like being there. As a French , I am not so surprised by the macaron, almonds are a big deal in Italy and France tiptoed in it fairly recently in the history of cuisine, from North African influences and Italian neighbours, for sure almonds are 'casi' sacred !

So beautifully filmed. What a wonderful woman and cook Vittoria Gondi is. It did not surprise me the link with the Medici family, many years ago I bought the book 'Lorenza's Pasta' and she used to have a show on TV. Later there was a cooking school on the Medici Estate and I wanted to go there, but I believe now it has become a larger business with the cooking school based in Florence. I loved this episode so very interesting and the wonderful details around the cooking.

Episodes like this one take me back to my youth in my grandparents' and aunts' kitchens back in Italy. We try and keep some of these traditions going. Grazie!

Such a wonderful kitchen, I would have a hard time leaving it. Listening to Vittoria speaking about the history of different food dishes was interesting. The next time I spill oil, I will be putting some vinegar there as well. Thank you all for a beautiful, informative episode, simply wonderful.

As I’m watching this, the tears gently roll down my face. I finally finished photo albums today with my great grandparents and down to us six siblings. I wanted them all in chronological order. So I redid them. Thinking back as far as i can remember (which is age 4-5), the memories. Old fashion cooking and traditions. The garden, fresh vegetables and small live stock. I gravitated to my father’s Italian side. Helping in the garden, fresh cooking from scratch. Watching this video, i felt at home again. Haven’t felt that in many years. I live alone and wasn’t blessed to have children, so watching these videos truly go to my heart. Thank you so much for sharing. I can watch them everyday. I say a prayer for you and your family everyday. Xoxo
