Wonderful sewing room! It helps so much to have a dedicated craft space where you can just close the door on a partially completed project. I love seeing people's work spaces come together. I always get ideas from that.

Wow, what perfect timing for your video. I have finally decided to use my living room, which is about the size of your room as a sewing/workshop. I already have shelves but need to clean all the other junk out...lol. I hope mine is as cute as yours. I love your new sewing room! I sure does help a lot to have your own office :) I also got my own sewing room finished in April, and it's a huuuge difference. I don't have to worry about my cats or dogs being too interested in my fabrics or projects. I can just leave everything as it is, lock the door and relax. :)

Invest in a dozuki saw, it’s a lightweight razor sharp saw that you can use to cut troublesome shelves or rods or anything that needs to be cut up that you can’t get with a kitchen knife. Sandpapering it must have taken a long time!

Can you make a video featuring yukata made with indigo dye and Oshima Tsumugi + Yuki Tsumugi? The natural dyes in Japan are fascinating. I have done a lot of research if you’d like me to share what I know with you. Also the use of gold leaf in obi weaving is mind blowing! Please consider this topic, it would help promote traditional craftsmanship in Japan.
@BillyMatsunaga2 жыл бұрын
First of all: yukata can’t be made out of tsumugi. But anyway, I’m doing 2 livestreams in my Patreon every month covering these type of topics. In case you’re interested in learning more about it 😉
