They will steal even if it’s locked, there isn’t an option to lock for everyone but a certain sim on the vault, I had to move mine into a room with a separate door and lock that to keep my simoleons safe!

Just a lil advice. When they ask to live together and you say no, they get a negative sentiment towards you. What you can do is just say yes, it will take you to the screen where you add a household to your own and you can just press 'x' on the window. Like that you dont hurt their feelings but you also dont have to live with them Edit: Also! Yes you can just grt a wellness treat. Whenever i adopt a pet i just grab a few wellness treats. It gets rid of any sickness and is a third of the price. And make sure you lock the vault every time. Otherwise the money can be stolen easily

Rainbow Treat = blue egg + green egg + orange egg. Orange Egg = feeding pumpkin treat to chicken. Pumpkin Treat = pumpkin + sugar. Hope this helps 😊

to help lessen the bills through my playthrough I turned on auto-lights. for the community lot and the house of the sim your playing you can keep those on but in everyone elses house turning them off saves a load of money!

Clicking on the read magazine option in your tent raises a sim's fun need quickly if they are super low. Keep your tent if you don't have other objects that give you free fun when you are just starting out.

8:41 I don’t know if it makes you feel any better about the mounted fish, but in real life it’s rarely the actual fish that’s mounted! It’s very hard to preserve fish like that, so they’re usually fiberglass replicas made to look like the real fish

This has been my favorite challenge so far. 🤘 The wellness treat in the vending machine is alot faster with treating pets. Although I'm not sure if it's more or less than seeing the vet.

My sheep left the lot, when I got the message that she was thinking of running away I clicked on it and found her. Then Frank went and retrieved her and we had to use some funds to make a fence with a gate and lock them in. So now they sleep at Frank's house.

Pretty sure the animal ageing tick box has been broken for years. They claim to have fixed it recently, but I haven't noticed a change. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

In Norway it's really common for communities like this to have something called "Dugnad". Basically it's voluntary work to maintain the common areas, like yardwork, painting, cleaning gutters etc. Then when everything is done we gather in the common area and have a BBQ party and often waffles and coffee at the end. It's to build relationships between neighbours and also to save on maintenance costs 😊

In art, i've always been taught to add a little of another colour in a monochrome (often the complimentary) to brighten and enchance the main colour, definitely love the pops of cyan in yellow!! I love this series!!:D

Fun fact: Sixam is not only Maxis spelled backwards, but Maxis is six am spelled backwards. As in 6am. The name Maxis was chosen because the developers would often stay up until 6am working on TS1 (if I remember correctly).

Love how Ziggy's house has turned out Deli! :) I definitely think it makes sense for Cyprus to go down the fabrication/furniture restoration route to complement woodworking and candles. I had him dumpster diving and then using the SMOG Vacuum to restore all burned stuff and he even ended up starting the Tiny Town Retail shop (and bonus is, he can also go restore any other burned items if there is a fire and you don't need to do the "replace" any more :))

Ziggy’s house is amazing! Also, you can use the wellness treat to cure your pets. I always stock up on them after getting pets to skip the trips to the vet. Cheaper and faster- bonus it increases your friendship with the pet. 💗

Cypress has been such a challenge! Finally getting somewhere but I'm kind of rushing to finish his house so I can move on xD Beatrice and Frank have been the easiest by far, but I think Frank is the front runner as I was able to sell some arrangements for like 13k! It kind of felt like cheating 😅

I just finished Ziggy's house and started playing with Frank, then he got struck by lightning twice and died!!!! lucky me I was just in the beginning, cause I had to turn off the stormings and start again with Frank (with some cheats and his garden also)... theres no way to do gardening with the amount of storms in the world of cottage living 🤪🤪

Hi Deli, if you want in Debug from the For Rent pack there is a tent like cover that you could use over the selling table so they dont get wet, its like what you would find in IRL market stalls in Australia (or llike you are at a bunninings stall on a week end) if you want to use that for the community space.

I know it's late, but I would personally remove the animalfeeder and just place some prairie grass instead, so Ziggy can use his back patio properly. Also that little triangular wall, It would be nice to find some trimming that doesn't stick out so wildly at the bottom.

Love all these houses so far I think the cottage is my favourite upto now which surprised me as I thought I'd prefer the mid-centuary modern as that's normally my favourite house to live in when playing sims, I like animals and cottage living gameplay but cottages aren't really my style of house and I don't like to go against the world overall aesthetic n it look odd but seeing your cottage has made me wanna play in one as it's so gorgeous and doesn't just look more like an older sim should live there instead which is what vibes cottages normally have but yours is very cottage but the way you furnished made it definitely look it would be perfect for a young sim.

I just started this challenge too. I got Opal first. Once she started getting good at gem and jewelry making and had a crystal tree she was basically printing money. Then I got Beatrice and for her I struggled for some reason. The food stand was being buggy and stopped having sims come to buy stuff. I just rolled again and got Frank so I’ll be starting him soon

My mom loves to collect bone remains of different animales, and some are hanging on their house. She has a big collection of different stuff. Also, for no spesific reason. In Norway (not sure if this is a thing in other nordic countries) we celebrate 13 years of school (last year of highschool) by being russ. And its just the best timing, because this celebration includes parties, drinking and stuff in the middle of the exams. And they usally have a bus or a van.
