Great work in that bathroom. I would recommend that you place your table saw on a lower table that is waist high in case you get kick back it is less likely to hit you or your dad in the face. I have had kick back into my hip and that was bad, I couldn’t imagine in the face or neck. Your dad is awesome

in the last video i forgot to mention how sad it was to hear the former owners treated this bathroom badly. the original floor underneath that decayed to crumbles was super bad. remodeling came just in time. also i literally thought the shower walls and sink were a favorite shade of turquoise for a moment i was going to make a note and ask what it was made of because it was so shimmery, but the question was answered when the substance was peeled like gift wrap to reveal the real color of the shower lol. i will also take your advice about the floor into my personal projects. i had a similar issue when it came to a costume project the fabric pattern layout wasn't going the certain direction i had hoped on the fabric. the staining process peeked my curiosity because i always wondered if wood stain colors could be mixed like regular paint lol. we had a bathroom window that was clear back in my high school years, i had an aunt who liked to open the window when she showered (it was the upper half) and we prewarned her when we first moved in until we get the blinds set for it(which was coming) to sheild the window with this flat piece of wood we were using. ( she didn't ) and fortunately the neighbors didnt see her but my grandmother while doing her gardening glanced over and long story short) she started putting the barrier over the window. during the remainder of her stay that and a tatoo she got in her years ago and never told her was finally exposed. 🤣 the bathroom turned out great it looks amazing!
@diytiff Жыл бұрын
Turquoise would have been an interesting choice of color lol. I love turquoise but maybe not in the shower 😂. It’s very common for things to be wrapped like that from the manufacturer including appliances. I bought a dishwasher once for another home and I left the wrapper on until all the work was done and literally everyone asked me why I picked out a blue dishwasher 😂.

I always use vinyl sheet for floor in bathrooms, I can afford tile but I don’t like grout, I like the reassurance of having a sealed floor and it’s warm to stand on. I like the floor laid that way, it makes the room look wider. 🇬🇧
