Personally, I wish they'd focus on fixing the bugs instead, and maybe improve the UI here and there. Leave the decoration to the *much* larger and more competent user base through the gallery, as intended. That does, however, leave lots like this one, which require cheats. I do wish they'd make ALL lots editable by default, so that we could utilize the crowdsourced efforts to redecorate them as we see fit.

I really want townies to have storylines and for them to get promoted and have lives and not just sit around. Whenever I don’t play with a household I’ll go back in and they’ll be late for school and work, it would be nice if they could do these things by themselves when you’re not physically controlling them.

I personally LOVE realm of magic, it doesn't even feel like the Sims. ALTHOUGH the magic school is HORRIFYING, and we can't even rebuild it without a cheat!!

Ngl that’s not that bad of a thing. The Star Wars pack doesn’t even have official lots you can only use the cheats to enter build mode at all in Batuu. Get to Work you have to use the same cheat while your sim is at work to edit the career lots. The gameplay more than makes up for the builds imo because a maxed out spell caster never needs to worry about needs or mundane tasks ever again. Repairo, Duplicato, and scrubaroo are life savers and the potion of plentiful needs is also great to have when you’re trying to do stuff and don’t have time to worry about needs

It’s actually extremely appreciated in a political era trying to harm our community at ever turn, especially in her state Florida. It’s not necessary for her to say something, it’s true. She did so with intention and choice. She established a boundary. If you need a “safe space” that doesn’t include people stating they stand against transphobia and a woman who has blood on her hands, you can leave. This space is Kayla’s and she has stated it’s not for transphobes.

That way you end up isolating the trans community, when we're trying to show the world trans are just normal people. Again, we're transiting a cancelling era where everybody gets tense and reacts aggressively at any opinion that doesn't fit theirs. But it is part of a well needed change so it'll get better over time. Also, not agreeing with only one thing Kayla says means you have to leave? When it comes to limiting packs, I think it's always pretty safe to assume that if you have Realm of Magic, you'll also have Vampires, Werewolves and Paranormal Stuff, so mixing those is usually no issue for most people. Supernatural gameplay is so much fun.

I've been having the best time building "peculiar" lots lately- i built a regular house for five single heroes with themed rooms and it was so much fun and pushed me to use things I never do.

I know it isn't directly related, but I would love to see the Sims Team make even more use of community experts. I know they are hiring builders to do most new lots in packs now - and the difference between the pre-Snowy Escapes lots and the new packs is marked. What I think they need to do now is hire in a small panel of experts to "sanity check" build mode items, things like one item in an obvious set is missing swatches, sometimes there are a couple of swatches that are near identical, whilst another colour isn't included, if some items in a set have "distressed" and "pristine" variants, make sure all items in that set, and all colours have both variants!! It is disheartening to have to add recolour mods to get what should be a "complete" build set. Even worse for those who don't have access to mods. It'd just be nice if we only had the gameplay bugs to annoy us after release, without build/buy being incomplete also!!

If I wanted to super micro-manage it to use the Sage specific rooms, I would form a group with the Sage I want to learn from, we go to the corresponding room, and then I lock us in together. Your results may vary if you want to duel in the room with the Sage rather than using the devoted dueling space created in this build.

Personally I have been enjoying playing as a cottage witch, it allows me to basically play stardew (cottage living town quests) , farm my own things to be an off the grid freelance witch selling things that I make or grow. I havent gotten the horse ranch pack yet but I bet you could incoperate a horse into the farm as well to have both a witch and a horse game. That or just make a yeehaw witch 😄

This EA build is so horrible. I built a "Hogwarts" magic HQ over it. On a hill over a lake with a waterfall (there is that infinite waterfall on the lot, so why not) all finished with a great hall and stairs tower and clock tower. But I do use CC, co it was realitevely easy though time consuming :)

Kayla, this is possibly one of my favorite builds I've ever seen you do. I always love seeing you use as many packs as needed in a build rather than limiting packs - I think like a lot of viewers, I watch these as a source of inspiration for my own builds, not necessarily to download and play in myself (though I am considering adding this one to my game if I do magic gameplay again one day, cos it really is spectacular). 💜🌿✨ Also, thank you for addressing the magic-school elephant in the room early in the episode, it is unfortunate that the theme is tied to that franchise and author, but I am glad that you made your stance clear the way you did. Even though I've had the pack for years, I've never actually played Realm of Magic. One day, I traveled to this lot just to check it out and it was pretty underwhelming, it made me feel a bit discouraged to even try it.
