Look into softly sanding the scratches out and put restore a finish all over the piano. It will bring more color to it and also give the shine back

Ugh Hannah I am so sorry to hear about the contractor!! A very similar thing happened to us. We hired a contractor to put in two rooms and a bathroom in our basement and he kept delaying and delaying us. He would come for a day, do some progress, and then leave without updating us on when he would be back. He didn't even answer our calls! For some reason we decided to stick it out with him but the process took muuuch longer than it was supposed to. It was so frustrating!!! I get it!!

I am so sorry the contractors didn't get things done correctly but all things happen for a reason and the new contractor I am sure will be a better fit for you. You and your husband are such go getters and I am sure it has to be hard to wait and wait and wait on others......It would make me a nervous wreck. God bless your patience. So sorry you had to fire your contractor. But I just thought from the get go something wasn’t right there. Love what you are doing with the house. You guys are doing so much. I think it looks great! I do think a reference photo of the design on the countertops would have helped you two much better! Other than that, it definitely gives me ideas as to we could use epoxy BEYOND the garage or maybe do a similar design in the garage. ;)

I know the bench for the piano is wobbly. But trust me it won’t break. I have the same piano and bench. The bench has gone through so much and it’s still hasn’t fallen apart on us. We are second owners. The bench is about 30 yrs old.

I have to tell you about some under counter lights I got! I watch the Latina next door and she used some in her kitchen makeover from eshine and they are wonderful! I bought them and you plug them in, no batteries, ad I just love them! Amazon has them, or you can go directly to eshine website and look. There’s a motion sensor you can use, or it also came with a remote. I can’t say enough good things about them! The only thing you have to worry about is hiding the cord, and I really didn’t have much of an issue with that either. Oh...and I’m so sorry about your contractor. 😢
