Water vapour trails turn to clouds from planes. After the fuel is burned, there’s water leftover just like car exhaust in winter that you see coming out of tail pipes. Nothing sinister or conspiratorial as you seem to be implying..

Why would you think Chem trails? Why must everything be a conspiracy? The trails that crossed our skies when I was 60 years younger, hung around for quite a long time. No one ever thought chem trails.

Great work on the ceiling. But, why insulate the walls? Aren't the walls like two feet wide? Most of the places if seen of Portugal have very well insulated walls due to thickness. I am so surprised you didn't know where to go for all your lumber needs. Glad your neighbor helped you out. It looked like an expensive wood store. Do you have any contacts of other ex pats living near you? So many have you tube accounts with so many different talents. I think you should reach out and connect with other ex pats for information and or occasional helping hand. Many are connected and help each other out and share talents. Hubby has talents for sure.

You did choose the best new product to insulate with. But I think the floors make a room cold. Maybe I would put in floor heating system. @@chickadeeacres3864

Thick stone walls are ok in summer but not in winter!

Why you didn’t secure the insulation? I saw a few that didn’t really fit in. After you put the sealing up you can hope he insulation will stay in.
