Charlotte Perospero | Pero Pero no Mi | All Attacks and Abilities | 【1080p】 | Whole Cake Island Arc

The Pero Pero no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create and manipulate candy at will, making the user a Candy Human (キャンディ人間). It was eaten by Charlotte Perospero. This fruit allows the user to create and control seemingly limitless amounts of candy, even being able to make it move as if it were a mechanical construct, like escalators and prostheses.
The candy created by the user is edible.
When hardened, the candy becomes incredibly strong and resilient, able to hold down the superhuman children of the Vinsmoke Family and even an entire moving castle, as well as block cannon fire and a Gear 3 punch from Monkey D. Luffy. Water also does not seem to affect the candy, as Perospero can comfortably travel across the ocean by riding a mobile mass of it around.

This fruit is so versatile, it's a really good paramecia. You could probably make a knight armor out of candy just like Mr. 3 did back in Impel Down!

It's unfortunate that this character had such a mediocre performance in the Onigashima war. In Whole Cake, he was shown to be able to replicate Punk Hazard's laboratory and build a gigantic escalator effortlessly. This shows that he has great mastery in the use of his Devil Fruit, in battles he greatly underestimated the Straw Hats and still emerged victorious over Chopper and Brook, there he showed no effort, appearing to be much stronger than that. It is disappointing that the character had difficulty even against Carrot and Wanda, the heat would not be a problem if he managed to create a huge amount of sweets and with impressive rigidity, they would be easily crushed even in Sulong form. In the battle against Nekomamushi, all Perospero would need to do was make a huge candy dome that would instantly cancel out the cat's Sulong form, ensuring his victory. I believe he must have been a real danger in the war, showing that he was Big Mom's firstborn son, and I would also find it incredible that he had any emotional problems, like having to struggle to live up to the expectations of his mother and his brothers (after all, older brother receives many demands from relatives), in addition to showing more how he feels about being overshadowed by Katakuri.

You're right imo! Whole Cake I think has a lot of good secondary villains and he's one of the better ones. But in Wano I think it's clear he just wasn't the focus, so he fell to the side. He definitely should've done more but that part of Wano dragged on as is

​@@TrimTheMasked I believe Perospero could have defeated Wanda and Carrot by crushing them with massive candies that wouldn't melt easily. Against Nekomamushi, it would create a dome of candy that covered the moonlight, thus nullifying Sulong's form, automatically defeating him. After that, he would be leading the troops of wild pirates against the samurai until he came across Brook and Robin escaping, thus having an interest in capturing Robin for her ability to read Ponegryphs. He fights Brook in the art of swordsmanship and after a great fight ending with one crossing the other, Perospero is frozen and falls defeated. Brook and Robin walk away, but Brook got cut in the back and starts to turn into candy. Perospero reveals himself in the shadows, explaining that he managed to survive the freezing by concentrating sugars throughout his body with the Seimei Kikan technique, in the same way that certain species of frogs survive the winter. About to capture Robin, Peros is intercepted by CP0 agents who attack him with the Shiggan from a distance, but he defends himself with a Candy Wall. However, Guernica hits the barrier, sending him flying away along with the loudmouth who hits a wall squarely. Luckily for Robin, X supernovas Drake and Apoo appear and fight CP0. Perospero stands up in the middle of the fight and decides to use all his power, creating a huge amount of candy that takes over the entire environment, knocking out everyone around him. From the candy, he creates a giant version of himself that defeats one of the agents, but Guernica and Maha manage to weaken his candy barrier. About to take the fatal blow, a bird with blue flames appears and falls on Maha who faints on the floor, and Izo appears giving a surprise blow to Guernica, flying to another room, where the two fight. Finally, the battle continues between Perospero and Marco, after an intense conflict, Marco emerges victorious and Perospero defeated. This is my modification of the story.

@@TrimTheMasked I hope characters like Smoothie, Daifuku, Oven, Snack, Amande and Mond'Or have their moments in the future, perhaps in an alliance with Luffy in the war against Blackbeard. For Cracker to show his worth and Compote to stand out, I think she is a very interesting character to be just an extra, after all she is Big Mom's firstborn daughter. I imagine Compote as a character similar to Linlin, in villainy and brute strength.

How can he be a weak user if he managed to trap the entire Vinsmoke family in his candy? He even managed to immobilize Bege's Big Father form, survive an explosion caused by Pedro, block Luffy's haki-free attack and easily defeat Brook and Chopper. Its candy is extremely resistant, like Mr. 3's wax, it cannot be a weak fruit, in the hands of users like Katakuri it would become an extremely powerful weapon. Even though he is not at Katakuri's level, Perospero has great command of his power, as he is able to replicate Punk Hazard's laboratory and create a huge escalator effortlessly. The candy's resistance is probably due to it, like Cracker with his cookies.

@@kuyapadoru Magellan also doesn't have Haki, and yet his Devil Fruit Mastery alone makes him terryfing to such a degree not even Crocodile wanted to face him... nor anyone in Impel Down, including Level 6 Prisoners. He actually managed to beat Ivankov, Blackbeard with his new dangerous allies, and Gear 2 Luffy with relative ease, and it took Gear 3 with Wax-Wax Fruit and Ivan's powers to temporarily gain an advantage and escape Impel Down. And remember that Magellan was active on duty only 4 hours per day (8 hours sleeping, 2 hours recessing, and 10 hours spent on potty), and yet he was more terryfing than Hannyabal or in some ways even more than Shiryu. If he knew even basic forms of Observation and Arnament Haki... R.I.P. anyone who would try to escape.
