Thanks. Two additional tips: Mine would stil not open the garage door, despite the led blinking confirmation. Turned out there was a tiny piece of bare metal wire broken loose from the solder on one side, on the back of the new remote. I soldered it back and now it works fine! I had to 'tune' to the right frequency by turning the tiny screw on the bottom right first though. :)

Please, yes for extra links. I have followed the tutorial exactly. The broblem that keeps reoccurring, is when actually holding down the original remote button and the clone one. When simultaneously pressed, I get the clone led flash a few times, but it will never do the final flash to say it has accepted the code Unfortunately, this same thing happens every time. I do hold the remotes next to each other, and have rotated the original remote to every single side, as well as to the two faces of the remote to try find the signal, all to no avail.The clone resets perfectly, as shown by pressing a/button at same time, and then releasing b 3 times. It will simply not indicate the led flash that the code has been read. Thanks

Well, after months of trying, I cannot get these to work on a Firmamatic remote controlled garage door. I still find, that on some occasions, it appears, like the video, that the buttons do not have anything stored. However, a long press of the buttons, which is needed to get my control unit to recognise the transmitting remote, that all the a b c d buttons all show a red light on a long press, and not on with a quick press. I tried so many times, I got the remote batteries go flat. Tried on three units as per the video, without luck. Does anyone use them on anything else, so I can try to confirm they are simply not compatible with Firmamatic?? Thanks for the help.

Hi There, Try doing to the Door opening controller (On the door itself) and press your buttons on the remote.... can you see the light rapidly flashing on the control unit? if so, it is seeing your remote , but just needs to be #CODED# into your controller. try the last part of my instruction on how to do that. - see how you go

Now Press and hold the button (The LED will Flash a few times and then be raon the new remote you wish to operate your door with. 4. Hold this button down until the LED light goes Solid 5. Stage one Complete ========= |STAGE 2| Syncing to Door Master Controller (If Above does not work) ========= 1. Put Garage Door Master Controller into learning mode and wait till it is in listening mode (Each type is different = refer to your owners manual) and then press the button you have configured.

Hi Westy. It seems you have done some research and in fact it worked on another remote I had with a different look to it. But I do have an identical to yours I cannot seem to get to work. When I press each button a single red blink comes. When I press and hold A+B it firsts glows red, then starts to blink fast. But all 4 stil blinks when pressing. If I hold C+D then It again glows red and fast flashing, but after that all 4 buttons seems to have code... Its whery strange! If I then try to copy, its starts flashing like crazy when there is a signal(not when there isent), but it still doessent work afterwards... Almost like the sender is dead.

Open your B & D MAin Module in your garage and see if it has the frequency on it ... should be 433Mhz if not ... get which frequency it is and then get on online and follow the same set up. you will be able to clear all previous paired coeds and set a new one. Look up your model specs online and you should find a manual that works.

Hi, anyone know what to do when the key doesn't reset properly. I've got a 3 button which is exactly the same. I programmed it ages ago and I wanted to reset it but I forgot the instructions. " Look up your Garage door control unit manual and work out how you put it into learning mode. Once in the mode. Press your new remote that you programmed in my above video and Viola!

Press and hold DOOR CODE button once Select one of the four buttons on key transmitter you wish to use to control the door. Or the button on the end of the manual release cord. Setting the Transmitter to Operate the Door The opener can only operate from transmitters that have been programmed into its receiver. The receiver needs to learn the codes of any transmitter that will be used with the operator. Up to sixty four (64) codes can be stored in the receiver’s memory. a. Ensure the button cover has been removed (see Electrocution caution) and the opener is turned on. b. Press and hold the DOOR CODE button. The DOOR CODE LED will illuminate and beep to indicate the opener is in Code Learn mode (Fig. 8.1). c. Press and hold the transmitter button that you want to control the door for two (2) seconds, pause for two (2) seconds, then press the same button again for two (2) seconds and release. d. Release the DOOR CODE button. e. Press the transmitter button to test.

thanks dude. really appreciate your detailed explanation. it will defs help other people stuck in a similar situation. but i guess im done cuz its a gate for the entire flat's parking area. i just moved in and i thought i could just copy my flatmate's key but if i open that control unit chances are i get taken by the police... but anyway really useful content keep it up fam
