Adam Sandler is truly one of a kind, he never took the entertainment industry too seriously, fans always have a great experience with him, he has shown himself to be an incredible actor and while the critics don't really agree with him, at his core Adam is just a humble down to earth person that just loves making movies while having fun with his friends and I respect him a lot for that
@willlienellson745111 ай бұрын
You don't have to like all Adam Sandler movies, or even most Adam Sandler movies, but if someone dislikes ALL Adam Sandler movies and dislikes Adam Sandler as a person I am guaranteed to not get along with them in any context. It's an interesting litmus test.

Precisely, Adam Sandler might not have the best movies, but he's probably one of the best people out there.

When I was younger, Sandler movies were guilty pleasures. Now, I realize there doesn't have to be guilt; I can just like what I like. Sandman was a big part of that for me. It also helps that he's legitimately nice, open, and generous man when there aren't cameras around.

As many people have said, you might have outgrown his movies, but you can't deny Adam Sandler truly is a great person, Norm Macdonald loved him and he loved Norm, and thats a big plus in my book, grounded and humble, one of the few celebrities who truly are kind and humble

By all accounts he is the nicest talent to work with. My friend was a production manager for one of his recorded shows and said he was so respectful, asking if he could bring a friend to watch the show. That friend was Justin Bieber. I mean, the fact that you bother to even ask when no one would say no to him or having Bieber in the room.

Everyone forgets Reign Over Me. I don’t know why. I will say I haven’t been of a big fan of his later typical work compared to his 90s films but all of his more dramatic roles deserve attention. I love when comedy actors do something a little more than what they’re known for. Jim Carey in Eternal Sunshine, Will Ferrell in Stranger Than Fiction. With Sandler, of course Punch Drunk Love and Uncut Gems, but I feel Reign Over Me gets overlooked. Super underrated and one of my favorites of his. His chemistry with Don Cheadle is fantastic. Give it a watch if you haven’t seen it or heard of it.

As someone who watched several of his earlier family movies as a kid, and then stopped when the late 2000's movies started coming out, i recently watched Uncut Gems, and now as an adult i feel bad for having a bad opinion of Adam. Those late 2000's movies may not have been good, but he's a great man, and i really appreciate his sincere and honest attitude. A true role model

in the 90's if you were in grade school and said something bad about Adam Sandler's movies you were gonna be shunned. At least I think so, I never met another kid that didn't like his movies only those who hadn't seen them. And if that happened you and all your friends would pretty much demand that you watch them lol. Big Daddy in particular is one of my favorite movies of his that holds a special place in my heart. I should watch it again. Also he has music out there and it is often times just as goofy as he is. I broke a CD of his as a kid because I listened to it so much haha

I actually thought about this a while ago, but had a completely different take because: How is this not nepotism/ boys' club-type behaviour? It's one thing to consistently work or write with certain people that creatively vibe with you, especially when you're coming up and making smaller films. But once you have bonafide star power, it feels self-serving. I think Adam has demonstrated actual nepotism by hiring his kids/ family in projects. I know that this behaviour is not all bad, especially if it yields more creative projects, but I think its worth considering.
@blank-vj1mc11 ай бұрын
Especially in situations like this, criticisms of nepotism come from envy. This isn’t a politician or a real estate executive. Sandler made his own movie production company specifically to avoid all of the truly evil practices at other studios.
@WickWickWACK10 ай бұрын
When you start where he did and get to where he is today...then you might have something to consider. Not to mention, most of his costars are the only suitors of character. Also, I have no doubts Anniston,Spade,Beuchini, etc are talented enough without hitching a ride. What you ponder should be asked on a political affiliate page or Kardashian clip lol

I have to disagree fully. He's 'grown' entirely up all the whilst crafting and perfecting a humor that will still entertain himself, for himself...in front of the witness of worlds eyes as he's aged. Watch Happy Gilmore then watch Histle. Or even OutLaws- then come back to edit yourself lol
