Hi, rearranging the stash is always a good chance to rewatch it and think about new project 🙂

First time watching your videos and I really liked it. I plan on watching more content. Fun fact: Skeins are normally ready to use yarn, Balls are (mostly) wound up balls of yarn but things like mohair also come in little balls, cakes are “balls” that a wound in a way that you can see the color changing aspect or are wound up yarn using a cake winder and Hanks are normally hand dyed yard that you have to untwist and either wind it into a ball and cake it up with a yarn swift and cake winder.

On organizing your yarn samples - I like to use metal rings and a hole punch to save both the label and yarn snippet. It’s fun to see the different yarn types I’ve used, and helpful because the whole label is saved with it.

you should make a series of videos where you make videos trying to get through like 1/3 or half of your yarn stash

I definitely think that can be a series! Like working through yarns and what pattern I can use it with!

Loved the video even if it was so difficult to make and it took allot of time but I didn't understand did you follow the 200 budget? Are the prices for furniture high in your country?
@TheHarryKnit4 ай бұрын
I kinda did! 🙈 We went a lil over budget because we decided to buy another Kallax for the room instead of bringing the original one down. But overall, the rest of the furniture were still in the price range. IKEA furniture is pretty high here as there is a markup 🥹

The yarn stash template you are using looks really cool. But, i am a newbie to keeping logs and stuff. What do you think it does better than Ravelry?
@TheHarryKnit4 ай бұрын
I think it’s cause I can see it all at once, in columns and I can add everything in one page then just go to another page and another page so it’s a lot faster

@@TheHarryKnit that makes sense! I may get the template.

When your stash is in Ravelry, you can download it into a spread sheet. The stash on Ravelry is connected to your project pages, queue pages, and many more features on Ravelry.

You and your hubby could have moved downstairs into that big room and left your yarn upstairs 😊 looks great tho!!

As an Australian it always gets me how people pronounce Australia. But i suppose i pronounce lots of things wrong too and i can't fix it. Sigh
