Istg I get them on people all the time with my 96 steal I like the rips downlow being possible but I should not be getting them when they have a step sometimes 3 whole steps ahead of me. I should be touching ur back and only if you have lower finishing and im in position. And pass lanes should not be that good. People with 70ish steal lookin like 99 makes every game a challenge when it comes to setting up teammates even with my 85 pass rec is another demon. This game a post scorers dream

I think the game would benefit a lot from making wide open shots extremely easy. People who can get wide open should be rewarded and lazy defense punished. Once a shot, layup, dunk becomes open-tight coverage that’s when it should become extremely hard to score. Making a game where normal people can feel like they can contribute while also adding a skill gap that is noticeable for dedicated players is important. Skill floor needs to be LOW and the skill ceiling as HIGH as it can go considering where the floor is.

I've got a 6'10" PF build with a 90 driving dunk. I get blocked from behind more than I actually get a dunk off while I'm watching 6'2" SGs drive on 3 guys making layups over and over. Am I doing something wrong or are you other PFs having this same issue?

Im very happy that when you brought up The leaning shot in 2k you didnt address it negatively. For many 2ks ive had to learn what was a good shot/bad shot just from playing the game and often times having to throw common sense out the window. This is the only 2k ive played where taking a shot like i would irl feels right. I hated in past 2ks how i could dribble into a pocket of people and shoot the ball oftenly uncontested simply because some players wouldnt think id shoot the ball. I know its one of many things that bring our shooting percentages down. But i just want to see the IQ side of basketball play a deeper effect in our game. Because i am guilty of just running back and fourth behind screens until the screen magically pulls a player in just so i could shoot a 70 percent 3 point shot.

7:55 I think that lean back animation has to do with your defense immunity rating on your jumper. I stopped getting those animations when I fixed my jumper to a jumper that has high A+ immunity. Now my guy stands tall no matter what’s coming his way.

4:44-5:30 I think because my strength is a 55 my player is terrible at running past players on cuts compared to 24- now my player stumbles back or keeps cutting after letting go of my controller. Most people I've seen say that strength doesn't affect that but I swear it does. I might just test it my self in the build tester.

The myteam fix was an issue i noticed the first day launch. I did a on the fly sub, and my PG and C were position swap. Which shouldn't have been possible because of position lock.

4:35 Catch animations are our fault! They’ve been added features to allow us to prepare for receiving the ball like holding L2 while stationary and tapping R2 when you’re on the run. These features never left since they added them. Just people don’t use them.

Its just like last game, always stealing in the passing lanes was more prominent than on-ball defense and steal. I'm a defender, so i don't want it touched 😂. But to me, shooting is a work around if cant use rhythm shooting, just use the shooting stick, instead of the button. To me its feel more smoother and also not much lag compared button shooting.

I don’t have any major issues with this game. Tbh this game is just a lil more difficult than last year and I think ppl refuse to adjust. My shooting attributes at 80 and I don’t feel shooting is impossible just have to be smarter wit shots and more creative on offense scoring in more than 1 way. As far as cutting n gettin to the rim…..I have ZERO issue as a 6 8 sf wit 84 strength and and 93 dunk. I think ppl really need to just make builds for wat u really want to do instead of cheesy stuff and tryna get by wit the least possible in certain areas and play to their strengths they’ll have more fun. This game is beyond easy on a guard build. Put a 40 strength and 25 interior defense and you get what you deserve. Put a low pass accuracy and get what you pay for. PG is super easy and backdoor cuts are OP. Im not experiencing anything yall are except exaggerated lanes
