You guys need to mention that the wrench that Rep Fitness includes which looks like a Ninja weapon is not adequate to assemble this bench.

Thank you for the tip! We generally recommend a socket wrench and adjustable wrench for assembling all of our gear - as it makes it WAY faster. The included 'throw away tool' is for those who don't have a very basic tool set.

Can this bench be stood upright (vertical) to store against a wall when not in use?

I have heard complaints and there is even a video on youtube of the REP fb 5000 pad moves around which is pretty risky for heavy lifting. Have you guys fixed this issue?

Hi Brandon - you're talking about the pad being glued to the wood. This was fixed awhile ago, and we offered free replacements to everyone that got that pad. If you're looking at the old version in that video.... 3 more points to consider: 1) We upgraded the vinyl which is now 'grippy' and helps a lot when a lifter is driving with their legs. 2) We added rubber feet to all 3 contact points. This adds friction between the floor and bench, and allows better grip for those lifting on wooden platforms. 3) Color options! It's a pretty complete flat bench now, and probably the best available anywhere in the world - especially consider it's only $149.
