Kathy, you make a great point. Minnesota is in the top ten for taxes. Walz and democrats blew a 18-billion-dollar surplus to increase government and welfare programs to a 74-billion-dollar budget and increased fees like hunting fishing parks and driver's license. Did you know that they even added a 1% metro wide tax on most purchases for roads. My only concern is Minnesotans either don't mind the high taxes or just don't realize how much we pay. Maybe many are just too stupid to care. If that's not enough the state at this time is running a 3-billion-dollar surplus and we won't see a penny returned to Minnesotans.

Actually stumbled on this video. It’s only about 14 minutes but very informative. As a New York resident I was pleasantly surprised to hear Minnesota at its core is not a blue state. Rep. Hudson has an apt description of the media. Most of us have tuned out the MSM, Rep. Hudson says we need them. While that might be true, we’ll watch them to enjoy their discomfort in the hours after the election but by next week we’re done. How we vote needs fixing and the media needs fixing. Good seeing the Somalia community supporting Trump and participating in the political process, regardless of the party they support.

But, the overwhelming majority of the population is in a few counties. Olmstead County(Rochester) used to be red & is blue now. So, ya can't say Minnesota is red. Even my suburban county(borders Wisconsin) used to be red & has gone blue the last 2 election cycles. 😢 Part of the problem was district realignment a few election cycles ago where my suburban district was always red but now they have us lumped in with St. Paul so no chance of going red anymore. Same happened to my mom's district in the north metro-they have lumped her suburb in with Minneapolis. 😢

Well here in Washington state, we are 100% vote by absentee ballot. The ballots are required to be postmarked by the post office on the date of the election. There are a few official ballot boxes scattered around residential communities. But, most ballots are mailed in.
