$1,299 for a 10-125 lbs range worth of dumbbells is bananas. If you wanted a set that size in individuals it would cost like $7k+ and be a combined weight of a Honda Civic lol. I initially waited on pulling the trigger after watching one of your earlier videos where you mentioned "tieing up $1,300 for 6 months" as a downside (rightfully). However, 2 weeks ago just went full send and ordered anyways lol. These seem like pretty much the pinnacle of adjustable dumbbells right now. Shape, close construction tolerances, weight range, compact overall length, durability, and price... these things are going to be hard to beat for a very long time. It hard to imagine anything about their design that can be significantly improved upon. The only reason I stuck with my Bowflex adjustables for the past 7 years was because Rep x Pepin didnt happen yet lol. 2024 is a good year for the home gym community. Edit: Spelling

Thanks Coop, you asked both of my questions: custom stand and stainless handles. Gotta say though, I'm still holding out for stainless. Having a plating on the handle makes me feel like I need to be careful with it whereas solid stainless gives a sense of indestructibility.

Nice video. The rep x pepin cross product is nice. Rep should put an add on 2x cushions to sell with these dumbbells for allowing the dumbbells to land softly. It will also extend lifetime and assure warranty, too.

That's a great video I have the old rexan block 85lbs which I bought over 30 years ago which I love , but I may have to buy these, they seem solid. 120lbs looks amazingly sturdy and strong.

Love my Ironmasters, they can go heavier. But if these had been out a few years ago I might have got them. Certainly much faster/easier to change weight and 120lbs is great.

Coop amazes me . I'm about his size , height and weight but I have giants pythons as arms. I swear Coop is freaking strong! He can bench press and dumbells press more than I can. Hey Coop, just found your channel and loving your honest and very detailed in depth reviews. Do you think the Repins are worth an ~C$600 premium over the Snode AD80's? Can get the Snodes for a touch over $1000 taxes in, free shipping from Maxum. The Repins are C$1242 + $200 shipping and tax putting them around $1650. I do love the look and features of the Repins, but do you think the extra features and lifetime warranty would be worth that premium? Appreciate any advice!

Wonder what you guys would recommend with these. Currently my bench dumbbell work out max is 55lb. Been training 2 years. Slowly progressing. Im 42, looking to keep weight lifting as a life goal towards health and function. Should I go for the 80's or pull the trigger on the 105's. 120's might be overkill for me looking to avoid injury. I would say go 105. middle range and you can always upgrade. if you build up some strength in bench or dumbbell row it's always good to have a little bit of extra weight. 125 is probably unnecessary at this point

how safe are the for dynamic/explosive exercises like snatches and cleans? I ask because I can see potential for accidentally hitting the selector pin out of place. I actually have read a couple comments on reddit forums people accidentally knocking open the selector pins. That's awful and a flawed design features - or at least limits its versatility and makes them severely overpriced for the amount of exercises you can do with them safely.
